No power. I was getting intermittent power with my miele s558 midsize canister, but it was predicated with me fiddling with the retractable cord to get it to come on and then not move the canister while I was vacuuming. I have a dyson dc07 with a malfuncitoning clutch diagnosed here on fixya. I've replaced the clutch and the grinding noise when the clutch is engaged for carpet and non rotating brush problem presists. This is after replacement of the clutch with a new part. Install of the new part went well and there are no otehr apparent problems with the unit. Ideas? The unit is only a couple years old and not used that much on carpet. For an expensive vacuum I'm not that impressed with it at this point.
