The bottom brush that spins around is not moving anymore

\015 Sorry I don't know the technical names for parts! The cylinder with the brushes on it that spins on the bottom of the vacuum in not spinning anymore. The vacuum still picks up some dirt, but not much. This happened suddenly. I have a 6-month-old that picks up everything off the floor and I can't afford a new vacuum! Please help!\015

The belt that drives it has probably broke,If you can remove the head on that model remove it and replace the belt . You make have to access the belt by removing the screws from the bottom of the power head.

My Bissell Model 3760-4 is not working properly. The belt has been replaced (and checked 3 times), but the brush bar does not move when the brush motor button is on. I have a model 116.35922 beltless drive vacuum. The agitator brush will not turn with the vacuum running and the handle down. The brush turns by hand and the reset button has not popped. Ther is nothing wrapped around the brush, but it does feel to have some resistance when moving by hand.
