Wiring diagram for Model #11635922500 - KENMORE Upright vac I took the cover off of the vacuum to repair the power cord and must have pulled a wire out of its wire nut by the sweeper bar. If I had a diagram it would be no problem to replace. The bad has four short gray wires coming out of it. It is one of the gray wires that has come loose.

Henry hoover Hi all, I bought a spares/ repairs Henry on ebay having been told there was no cable rewind and believing that since I had a spare one in the shed it would be an easy fix. However, poor Henry had his cable replaced to find when plugged in, he tries to start but nothing happens. The motor turns once and just cuts out. If you turn it on and off again it happens again. One whir and turn of the motor, then nothing. It blew the fuses out in the kitchen first time too, so could it be a re

NO POWER My Dyson DCO4 Absolute (purple&lime) won't' switch on. I've checked the plug fuse, wall socket and also filters and hoses on machine all seem fine so think the problem is with the on/off button (maybe loose wire or something) but how do i get to it, is there a special way to remove the green on/off button in order to check the connection? Thankyou in advance for the help i am sure you will be able to provide.
The problem is almost certainly a fatigue break in the flex. These usually happen where the flex enters the handle through the rubber sleeve near the on off switch. You will need to cut about four inches off the wire and reconnect it to the switch. ... Vacuums
The power head has developed an intermittent, but frequent, electrical short. Is there an easy way to assess where? Or is this a matter for a repair shop.
Greetings,\015\012\015\012A majority of the time when this happens, it's caused by the hose having a short in it. You'll need to first identify what the source of the short it. To do this, turn the power brush on, and then swivel the h ... Kenmore 23812 Progressive PowerMate Bagged Canister Vacuum

I have an animal dyson. The front nose dives into the carpet when moving the dyson in the forward motion, fine when pulling back. A huge amount of effort is required to move it forward. Took it to a technician and he said he could find nothing wrong. He had only short nap carpet for test. Works fine on short nap, if the carpet nap has any lenght to it like shag, the dyson severly nose dives. It's like the nose is sucked into the carpet. This problem just occured after the wife used the ho

Dyson DC07 The plastic pre filter catch snapped on my Dyson. I have a replacement already, but can't figure out how to remove the bottom of the broken one. It looks easy enough to slide/snap the new one in but accessing the old one isn't easy. What do I need to do to get it out?

I have a Husqvarna Viking Designer sewing machine. The fuse blew in the machine and I am having trouble finding a replacement fuse. It is a T3.5/250v glass fuse. Please let me know where to find one. I have searched the internet high and low and can't find one. Radio Shack has a 3.0amp 250v slow blow fuse whick seems to be the right dimensions. Willl that work. Otherwise, I am not sure what to do and can't afford to take the machine to a repair show. Thank you.
That fuse will work no problem. There is no harm in trying it.The machine probably requires about 2 amps or less under normal operation. Being a 3.0 amp slow blow fuse, it will withstand short bursts of extra current when your machine get ... Vacuums
I need to replace the brushbaron my DC17 Animal model Dyson. It's almost four years old. I can't find the correct part number on the Dyson Website and I can't seem to find a Dyson repair center in Albuquerque, NM. What are my alternatives? If I can't service this machine without returning it to Dyson, I won't ever buy another one.

My dc 05 isnt working and i cant understand why , i have cleaned all filters etc and i also changed the fuse on the plug , which after i didi that it attempted to start but then jus cut out again so i thought the fuse had blown again , so i checked the fuse but its working fine could there still be a blockage somewhere in it or is it something electrical which means my dyson has to go to the dump :(
Most common cause of this problem is a wire broken inside the flex, usually either just where it leaves the plug (easy to fix) or at the other end (more of a problem). In either case, this is no reason to dump the machine - it can be fixed at a fract ... Dyson DC05 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit. The problem started when the little purple ridged curved part on front of vacuum cleaner right below handle came loose and a spring fell out from somewhere--don't know where. I pushed on the purple ridge part and it snapped back on. Now, can't get it loose again, don't know where the spring goes, and handle still comes loose from vacuum.
I'm not positive whether or not this is the wand handle because there are several versions of the DC14. However the device the locks and unlocks the wand in place is pretty similar between all the versions. The first picture is the wand re ... Dyson DC14 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
We have a dyson dc 07 animal the machine was working fine then switched off after returning to the machine minutes later it wouldnt switch on, i removed on off switch cover and used a short piece of wire across the brown wires flicked the wall switch and it worked, aha i thought faulty switch aquired a new one to no avail and now even the short piece of wire trick doesnt work, has the motor died do you think, it wasnt over heating or making strange noises prior to refusing to work
It could be the motor. I'm having to replace the brushes on my DC 05. It appears that you can only get brushes for the YDK motors in the DYSON, not the Panasonic motor. Which might be saying something about the YDK motors. What happens is that the ca ... Dyson DC05 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

It looks like you need a professional repair. If you're really lucky this may just be a break in the flex, or the switch has failed - both relatively cheap and simple to sort out. More likely, though, is a problem with the motor (carbon brushes worn ... Dyson DC07 Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum
Plugged my Dyson in this morning, switched it on and power came on for not even a second and died. No power what so ever to dyson - checked my house sockets, changed fuse. Still not working - dead as a door mouse. What could it be? Many thanks Sam
It is either your power cable, cable rewind mechanism or your motor. \012\012Try switching it on, and wiggling the lead near the plug and see if it fires up. If it does, remove the moulded plug and fit a standard plug. \012\012If not, lik ... Dyson DC08 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum
I have a Dyson upright vacuum cleaner makes a helluva racket whilst in use. Called up Dyson and they told me to flip the floor/carpet knob 10 times back and forth. That did the trick for a short while and it started again. Continue attempts useing that technique does not work. I think in spite of the big bragging I see on the TV this guy braying about how superior his product is it is a piece of junk. I should have bought a Eureka or something, at least it would have been less expensive. I

My Dyson DC14 Blitz It will not switch on. I have checked the fuse in the plug and it is fine. I have also vreified that the switch is working by using a multimeter. I'm guesing that there is an internal fuse blown (or worse!). Any suggestions?
