Having problems with your Vacuums ?

Kenmore Intuition wand very hard to pull out of head.

\015 I have a Kenmore Intuition Canister, and everything is working fine on it except the following: when I need to remove the brush head for access to corners the wand is extremely difficult to pull out of the brush head. The same is true when I want to remove the entire wand, to use the small brushes. It's as if the wand were too large for the opening. I thought over time it would become easier, but it hasn't. Do I need to sand down something, or use some vaseline or other product? Any help you can give me is appreciated.\015

Answers :

No vaseline. You can use wd40 or silicone spray. Also check to see if the wand is bent out of round where it meets the handle

My vacuum is a Kenmore Special Edition with a Power-Mate 12.0 AMPS wand. I ran over the edge of fringed edge of my living room carpet and immediately turned off the vacuum. Although I have removed the fringe pieces from the wand head and I have pushed the overload protector reset button on the wand, the wand brush will not turn. I have a new Euro-Pro shark model S3101. Used it one time and while I was doing my tile floor in my kitchen I reached under a cabnet to clean and hit the floor kick kind of hard and broke the head off of the shark. I have only the T shaped end on the shark now with the cleaning head broken off and looks unrepairable. I did kind of hit the floor kick hard but the plastic broke like glass. Can I put a new head on the remaining piece or is it repairable? thanks Angie
