I have a craftsman wet/dry vac - 16 gal 5.0 hp peak motor. Serial 98065V 8058, model113. 177790. When I try to use the vacuum function, the blower works too. Debris is blowing out of the shop vac instead of staying in.

I have a Craftsman wet dry vac with blower capability (22 L). While I was using it to **** up water, the water came out of the blower hose. Now I can't get it to work as a vacuum. What can I do to fix this problem? Is there a toggle switch somewhere that allows me to choose vacuum or blower? Also, will the vacuum still work without the filter nut attached to the plate? Please let me know at your earliest convenience. Thank you.

Try to find the reset button. It should be somwhere near the bottom area. It looks like a red dot that you can push inward. If you can press and hold the reset button, it will restart your suction and solve your problem. ... Vacuums

I have an old Shop Vac model 3331.5. This is a 12 gallon 1.5 hight peak shop vac with a detachable blower. After many years I decided to use the blower feature, but have lost the lost the manual. Question; how do I attach the hoses to the blower? The motor has that cap on it the direct the flow of air in one direction and the wide hoses do not fit over it. I may be missing a part, but I would think the directional cap would have to come off anyway.

Remove the cap that directs the air and insert the hose in there. ... Vacuums

My Hoover Windtunnel Ultra U6425-900 began shutting off after a few minutes of vacuuming. The time interval became shorter and shorter. If I leave it sit a while, it will start again. This does not happen when I used the attachments - only with the floor brushes. The switch has recently been replaced and the whole vacuum serviced by a Hoover dealer about a year ago. I have been told by a local repair shop(not a Hoover dealer) that it is the motor, there is nothing to do other than replace t
