I replaced the The power cord from the handle has 2 plug in connections: 1 at the handle / upper wand 1 at the lower wand top of the power brush attachment I replaced the entire wand assembly and it worked great for a year or so and now it's doing the same thing again. Clogged vacuum Rather stupidly, my boyfriend 1) were vacuuming without a bag and 2) vacuumed up a big piece of cotton from a sofa cushion. And now it's making a horrible noise and I see it vibrating where the tube connects to the machine. When you look inside there's a white thing sticking out but it looks like it's part of the vacuum. If it's a clog, how do you fix it? I tried unscrewing the tray the bag sits in but it won't budge.
You can start by taking off the bottom plate or top cover, which ever comes off, that is where the inlet starts going in and hopefully the clog is there. Could be in the hose also. But without the complete model number I can't look it up to see a p ... Kenmore 31912 Progressive Direct Drive Bagged Upright Vacuum
Engine troubles I have a 1975 4x4 GMC full size van. The motor is a 350 cid small block on propane. The thing hadn't been running in 5 years and when I tuned it up I changed vacuum advance pod on HEI distributor and hooked to a better vacuum and now the hotter it gets the faster it idols and when I try and turn the timing back, it starts hard. Wondering if vacuum is too strong or what is up?
I haven't fixed it yet but I think I might have a solution for it. From the factory this thing had a 4 barrel carb and they put an equivalent size atomizer in it for the propane and over the years someone omitted the EGR system in it and propane is a ... Vacuums
I have a dyson animal dc17 vacuum and it totally died. Now I can't figure out which wires go where when I install my new motor. (motor #: 160906G) Do you happen to know where the various color wires go or a place I can see a diagram of the motor with wires attached? I should have taken a photo of it before tearing out the old motor. I don't know where to connect the three coming out from the upright portion of the machine and the red seems to go to a switch (?) and there is a black (connected t

Meile Solaris. Power cord connection faulty. Unit powers on/off when cord is being retracted/pulled out. Maybe a break in wire close to connection point in vacuum. Or, the connection point itself is loose? The problem likely resulted from trying to use vacuum at furthest extent of cord.

I have a Kirby Heritage 84. Great condition except the part that connects the innerbag is missing. I don't even know what it is called. I can open the vacuum cleaner bottom and see that the part is missing. It should be oval where it connects to the vacuum and then extend into the cloth bag. PLEASE HELP!

Miele vacuum Sometimes when I hit the auto roll up cord button or even move the cord, the power vacuum goes off. I move the cord again and it comes back on. I took it apart and looked at the connection from the cord to the auto roller. These are the electrical slip on type connections and are still in good shape. There are no bends in the cord. I air dusted everthing inside, put it together (with no extra parts!). Good news..it powered up so I did not break it, but it still has the same problem.
I purchased a Eureka C4910 last year and have a question that I am hoping you can answer. There are two motor actions with this vacuum, 1) the vacuum suction, and 2) the beater bar. The action of the beater bar is that motor is supposed to automatically shut off when the handle is in the complete vertical position assuming the vacuum is stationary, but then turn on when the handle is tilted toward the floor, assuming the vacuum is moving back and forth. The beater bar motor turn-on mechan

I have an old Friedland door chime (approx 30 years old). It has 5 terminal screws to connect wires. They are labeled 0-4. I removed the chime during remodeling and would really like to reuse it. But it has very short battery life. 1 battery lasts only about 5 minutes, and the other is even less. I did all the instructions told me as far as conditioning and charge yet I still do not get a very solid amount of vacuuming time. Is there any thing I can do?
