We have a beam Serenity plus home vacuum system and there is no longer sucks. I removed the dirt from the bottom plastic container, but I also notice a sack or bag connected to the unit when I removed the bottom container and inside that sack there appears to be lots of dust. How do I access that and remove that dust without damaging the unit. I don't know how to do that

Loading my 52148 Scunci into the back seat of my truck the connector from the bottom of the handle to the top of the unit snapped off. It appeared to have a pivot ball that went into the sweeping unit to move, turn and pivot the sweeper. I could rig it to sort of function but if the lower handle part is available it would be nice to purchase one, if available. THANX, Don Colo Spgs Colorado

Our dustbuster (dont' have model number with me-sorry) won't turn off when I pull back on the switch handle. I disassembled the unit and realize that the tab on the switch handle that pulls back on the internal switch handle to turn it off is not strong enough for its simple task. Does B&D have a proper replacement part?

If you can provide a model number, I can check availability of the switch and can either order it for you, or supply the B&D part number and you can order it from most local vacuum shops in your area or from Black & Decker direct online: ... Black & Decker 15.6 Volt DustBuster Vacuum

I have a bissell powerlifter carpet and upholstery cleaner purchased in 2000-2001 by my wife. the sprayer does not work, it appears that the liquid is not being pulled up out of the tank. i am wondering if there is a part missing from machine. something that may need to go into the main tank. please advise.

I have a roomba 530 pet series. It appears that the brushes aren't turning. They are free of dirt and debris and move easily when manually turned. But, You can tell there may not be a motor turning, because the roomba is more quiet than normal when you turn it on. Also, the hair just collects along the bottom of the brush and doesn't get pushed into the bin.

Replacing filter Got a Filter Queen Majestic vacuum from my inlaws when they moved overseas. I am in middle of vacuuming, got a weird noise, so opted to check and clean the filter for first time. UGH. The lower 'pot' that's the bottom part of the thing was full of gunk, but the filter pristine clean against the cone that's attached to the upper part of the unit. In other words, I am shocked to see that the dirt goes not INTO the filter, but outside of it into the bottom portion (that I call the

Shopvac 90L400 quit working (4 years old). Thought the switch was bad but not the problem. I read that there is a fuse link in the motor that frequently burns up. I tried to take motor apart but not sure of the process. I was able to get to the motor but cannot pull it out of the armature. It appears I have to take the aluminum blower unit off the shaft (it appears to be pressed on with a retaining washer). Do I have to take it off to pull the shaft and motor assembly out? On the DC07, the entire cyclone assembly must be removed to empty the dust, debris, etc. collected when vacuuming. On the top of the cyclone is a "trigger" that you lift with your finger to release the bottom catch, which allows a clear flap to open on the "clear bin," thus letting all the debris fall out. My problem is when you lift the finger trigger, it does not release the catch on the bottom. Since the catch won't release, I cannot remove the entire clear bin either from the cyclone.Any sug

I have a Dyson DC-17 and the top of the cyclone has hair and other debris jammed in the ports. It has 6 six screws holding the parts together and I can only get access to 4 of the screws. The bottom piece appears to be removable, but I can't figure out how to remove it without damaging it. If I can get this piece off, then I have access to the other 2 screws. Can you tell me how to remove the bottom piece? Thanks in advance.

I was vacuuming with the Dyson DC 17 and sucked up a berber carpet string by accident and after cutting and pulling it all out of the bottom brush part, the brush no longer spins but the suction part works. What do I do?

I have a Model 116.35922500 Kenmore upright vacuum cleaner. It makes a loud air noise when using the vacuum. The removable filter at the front is cleaned regularly, and is not clogged. However, the machine appears to be suffering from being clogged by dust, as it has started to make a high pitched noise, and I fear it may burn out. I can see some dust inside the front panel but cannot see how to remove the front to clean it out. (NB. I have located two screws - one on either side - but cannot see how to proceed further.) The hose does not stay connected to the wand although the collar appears to be locked in place for a while. Is there a replacement part for this? Also the holder where the wand goes in has split horizontally. This appears to be one piece with the body of the unit. Is it repairable? It still holds the wand but continues to get worse.

Hi I’ve got a Panasonic vacuum cleaner MC E468 1600W a few years old now but works well up to recent problem. Not picking up I checked the obvious things and found excessive air being sucked in around the hose housing at the back of the vacuum (as it enters the waste bag) On inspection it appears to me as if there should be some sort of gasket that may have perished and been sucked in, however I can’t identify any such part. Any thoughts on what the problem/solution may be will be appreciate

The hose on the back might be loose - check to see that the hose is not obstructing anything where it screws in at the back - or indeed the screws may be loose themselves; some of the MCE 468 models had an additional ring washer that sits between the ... Panasonic Vacuums

Doesn't work Our home was built and finished in August 07.  The central vac doesn't work.  There is supposed to be a slot that opens in the kitchen where you sweep the dust and it sucks it up.  Also, the mounted unit on the garage wall has a hose that goes up into the house but there is a hole open at the bottom of the unit.  Where can I get someone to help us?  Or, is there an installation manual I can download to see if the builder did it properly.  He stole our solar heater for our pool and s
