Having problems with your Vacuums ?

How hard is it to replace the motor brushes on a electrolux model 1590 central vac. do they just pull out or is there a proceedure and any special tools required

Answers :

No it is very simple. You will probably need a pair of pliers, wire cutters and maybe some wire nuts. Remove the nuts that hold the motor down (some have springs that hold them down). Pull out the old motor, there will be three wires that go to it, (2) power and (1) Ground. Most likely you'll have to cut those and splice in the new motors wires with some wire nuts. Then simply reattach the motor the way you removed it and that's it. Good luck!

How to dismantle a Kambrook KBV30 vacuum for servicing? Does it require a special tool?

Nope, just a screw driver. The key are the covers for the handle. Just pry them apart from the body. Then you can access the screw holes that hold the two body parts together. Took mine apart as the motor sparks a lot and you can smell loads of ozone ... Vacuums

Can't find info for hoover steam vac spin scrub model # F5905900 on Hoover website, doesn't show that model number at all...looking for mesh (kind of cone/cylinder shape) that goes in dirty water tank (I think) and also the tool (wand) that slides into front to clean it out. It doesn't pull all the water up very well and the filter has been missing for some time. I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. As far as the wand tool goes, I have taken the cover off at this point and

Hi, I have a Dirt Devil Model # M08100REDC. I desperately need to change the bag, but I don't see an obvious way to do it. I'm afraid to try pulling on the cloth tab thingy that's just below the handle, between the rubber ring that holds the bag on the vac, because it seems like stuff will fly everywhere from the force required to remove it, and I might not be able to get it back on there. Should I just pull on that cloth tab until the bag comes off? Thanks, Roberta

You can pull on the tab to remove the bag, but probably a better way is to gently pull on the rubber ring that attaches the bag to the back of the vacuum body. If you don't yank and ****, it should come off without spilling the dirt. There may also b ... Dirt Devil Classic M08100 Bagged Handheld Vacuum

I have a B60 Special edition Keurig. I turned the power on and the "not ready" indicator just never goes away. Consequently when I insert the k-cup and pull the lever down to activate, none of the lights flash so I cannot select or brew. The machine is out of warfranty - but it is only 2 years old. Surely I should get more mileage out of it. I use Britta filtered water in it...

I have a Dyson 17, the Absolute Brand special for pet hair. I think I have a blockage in the hose. Symptoms are: spewing out fuzz balls and small particles. I have checked all the blockage sites recommended by Dyson and all are clear except a small flexible transparent hose, 6 or 7 inches long, curled up underneath the cleaner head/brush bar unit. Any ideas? I've tried to pull out the stuff stuck in there, but I'm afraid to perforate the hose and I don't know any way to disconnect it.
