My Bissell BS3920F upright (similar to the 10N6F) has been working wonderfully for the past 3 years but suddenly seems to not pick up dog hair as well as it used to. Vaccuum issue I just bought a Eureka upright model 5892 BVZ, my concern is, I bought it on sale (floor model) and it didn't have a manual with it. I took it home and tried it, and although it appears to be working very well there is not dirt in the catch bin on the front of the unit. If the dirt being vacuumed is not going into the dirt cup, then it must be just stuck in the hose and evenually will clog up. The flexible brush on my unit does not spin. It did 'by accident' pick up a cat poo that didnt make the litter tray while I was out, (and it happily spread it all over the house and skirting boards).
