Having problems with your Vacuums ?

Hi On a Hoover convertable model U4497-900 I'm trying to replace the fan. The old fan cracked, then flew apart. I have the new fan, have the motor assembly removed, but can't seem to get the pulley nut off the motor to replace the fan. Is there a trick to this or should I just try to muscle it? Thanks.

I want to take the fan impellar off the motor to clean it. I cant seem to get the metal housing off of the motor. Do you have to take the nut off the impellar If so how do you stop the shaft from turning thank you.

Very simply you dont take the fan out of the motor. it was not made to be removed or cleaned because its not supposed o get dirty if your using good bags in the vacuum. the best you can do is blow it out with an air hose. ... Electrolux Epic 6500 Vacuum

In particular I get Replace Roller coming up, but roller seems fine and it goes round ok if I disconnect the PCB. My unit turns on spins for 10 seconds and then brings on light C. Just replaced the motor on it about 4 months ago so not too keen to get a new one. Any help welcome.

First try connecting the power nozzle directly to the hose. If it works, the problem is due to a broken wire or faulty connection in the wands. At least one wand will need to be replaced.\015\012My guess is it's probably due to a broken or di ... Broan-NuTone VX550 Bagged Central System Vacuum

Power nozzle on E-series won't start when cold unless the red 'reset' button is pressed multiple times while also holding the trigger to 'warm it up'...this is w/the power nozzle off the floor - no restriction on it turning. Once it's been running and then turned off the button must be pressed w/the trigger to get it to run - again w/the nozzle off the floor. It also seems to shut off too easily while vacuuming. I replaced the motor, which didn't fix it. Is the reset switch next on my list? T
