Having problems with your Vacuums ?

Can the two inlet pipes be connected to one line? The central vacuum I have is probably from 1993/4. It has one exhaust pipe and two inlet pipes. It was initially under my stairs. I would like to move it and have in fact moved it to the garage but am now fitting the pipes. I would like to join the two pipes that were previously going to the two inlets into one pipe. Can I do it? Also would I then join the wires? Would I put a plate on the other inlet? THANKS. It is a SMART president's choice vac

There is no real reason why not...As long as you have enough "****" then that should be fine, you will need to "Y" join and NOT a "****" joint.

Two years ago I purchased a small electric fondue pot called a chocolate dipper here in Texas, at a CVS Drug Store. They no longer have these in stock. I would like to purchase another one. This little chocolate dipping pot was made by your company. I got your web address off the box. Do you still have these in stock and if so can I order one from you. I paid $9.99 my pot two years ago. Hi There I have got a Kirby 2 HG vaccum cleaner which is around 20 years old now. It was going really well until last week when one of the capacitors which are connected to the brushes blew up. There is two capacitors one for each brush. One of them completely blew to bits and the other one is still intact. My question is are they the same size and where do I get a new one from. I know it is an old machine, but I would like to fix it and get it going again. Any tips???

I have a clarke bench grinder model 1002. I have a light that I would like to attach into the wiring though the grinder wiring in it's base. The light has two wires, and the grinder has a ground that is grounded to the base, a black that goes to a switch then to the motor. The white goes directly to the motor. where would I have to splice in the two wires from the light? I have a switch that I would like to put in for the light on off also.

My Triton T80 SI shower is leaking from where the outlet pipe assy joins to the heater can assembly. when I checked where the two join together I see that there is a rubber O ring fitting into a recess in the heater can assy. The screws which hold the two parts together does not force a compression between the two parts causing it to leak. Is there another modified unit or am I stuck with what Ive got and should I replace the O ring or the shower.

Filter I bought this Hoover a few years ago-- just now about to use it first time. I cannot find my user's manual and don't know how to change the filter-- or to clean it or whatever I am supposed to do with it. Also, there is a handle on one side of the unit that seems to be attached to an empty chamber or canister kind of thing. It looks like it should pull out, but it does not budge. I really would like to have a manual, but can't seem to find one. Is there a similar model that is still

I have a Eureka 4870GZ. It turns on, but the brush roller doesn't move. The belt looks fine. I do have an extra belt and would try replacing the old belt, but I can't get the old one off the motor shaft or the new one on. I called Eureka customer service. The lady said there's supposed to be a small space between the motor shaft and the outside edge of the vacuum where I can slip the old belt off and the new one on. I don't see it. I have had my Bissell Healthy Home for just over a year. I use it once or twice a week on five area rugs and two small bedrooms with wall to wall carpet. Just recently, the motor started to sound extremely loud and it smells like it's burning. The vacuum still picks up everything and all the brushes are turning. Advice? I really like this vacuum and would really like to fix it rather than replace it!

My Dyson DC25 animal is having issues. I believe everything is working correctly except I have realized that the mechanism which switches the hose/valve between the wand and the vacuum head isn't working properly. The two gear pieces that move the hose placement aren't close enough together, so they don't work together. It looks like there is a washer that I could potentially remove on the clear gear piece which would allow it to sit closer to the assembly. Would that work? Currently I am

I have a remote Hunter Ceiling Fan w/ remote 1-2-3 fan speed buttons and one on/off/dimmer light button. Model Number CP-9110R. It only has one pull string and it is for the light. No Suction My two year old Kenmore Progressive stopped working in January. The guy at the Sears service center convinced me that buying a new one would be cheaper than getting it fixed. So I bought the exact same model and now this one has given out in the exact same way! I'm so confused. When I press on, it lights up and makes the whirring noise. Everything seems to be working but there is no suction anywhere. Not in the main part or the hose and there's no "cyclone effect" in the chamber. All
