Henry hoover Hi all, I bought a spares/ repairs Henry on ebay having been told there was no cable rewind and believing that since I had a spare one in the shed it would be an easy fix. However, poor Henry had his cable replaced to find when plugged in, he tries to start but nothing happens. The motor turns once and just cuts out. If you turn it on and off again it happens again. One whir and turn of the motor, then nothing. It blew the fuses out in the kitchen first time too, so could it be a re

How do I access that and remove that dust without damaging the unit. I don't know how to do that

Low suction I have a Hoover central vacuum system. I've reset the fuse box, checked the fuses, all of the lines are clear and there are no holes for escaped air to travel out. The filter has been cleaned as well. The vac works well with high suction when hooked directly to the unit, however when using any of the indoor connections there is extremely low suction. The machine still turns on so I do not believe it is an electronic issue. I have troubleshooted the issue as best I could and would

I bought a rubbermaid reveal mopping system.and I dropped the mop while using and the bottle fell out, the cleaning solution gurgled all over the floor, and now the cap is stuck inside the mop. Can anybody help me think of a way to get it out without damaging the unit?

Try using a pair of needle nosed pliers, in reverse. Put the tips into the cap and SPREAD the handles. The jaws MIGHT provide enough grab to back the cap out. Otherwise, it will be a try this and try that job. No two are ever alike. ... Rubbermaid Reveal Spray Mop Kit, FG1M1600GRYRD

Just purchased the unit 2 weeks ago. Worked great. Last night I left it plugged into an outlet - but turned "off". This AM the unit comes on; timer showing default @ 5 minutes; however, no "bubbling" action. Would leaving the unit plugged into a surge protector/UPS back-up unit overnight damage the product?

Hoover S3765 I have a Hoover S3765 (serial # 040600024465) and the unit stops working for no apparent reason. The light on top of the unit goes off when it shuts down, so I don't believe it's a problem between the hose, the tube and the floor unit. Sometimes I have to let it sit for over one hour before it will come back on. I've tried different electrical plugs too. Still won't turn on. Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks

If you light and nozzle motor both go off at the same time, you might have a bad power cord. Mine had this problem which I could verify by jiggling/twisting the cord near the strain relief on the nozzle. It would go on and off as I did this. ... Hoover S3765-040 WindTunnel Bagless Canister Vacuum

I was trying to repair my wife's kitchenaid mixer and took part of it apart, including the back part, where the electrical connections are. The original problem was the plastic gear was damaged -- I finally had the good sense to find the solution for that problem on the internet and replaced the damaged part. But now the mixer just won't turn on. I don't think I damaged anything in the electrical section, but I suspect I either blew a fuse or somehow disconnected something.

I fear the motor has failed on my Electrolux Oxygen EL6988D. Just six months after the warranty expired, I was vacuuming when it suddenly stopped. There was no blockage in the tube and it wasn't working hard or long . . . it just stopped. I looked around the Internet and it appeared that many similar Electrolux units have a fuse. I hoped my problem might just be a blown fuse, so I took the machine apart. There are two small printed circuit boards, but no fuse. There is an in-line
