Having problems with your Vacuums ?

Hi! I have a Pfaff Creative 1475. The presser foot seems "gummed up" or stuck. The back lever lifts it with great force, but then instead of staying up like the lever usually does - it then falls back down. The lifting foot stays stuck up and I have to push on it to get it back down. Help?

I slid the lever to lower the feed dogs and now (like so many other people have posted on the internet) I can't get them back up! I've sought out answers on the Singer website have called/emailed them but with no results. I slid the lever to the up position for the feed dogs and rotated the hand wheel towards me several times (I was told this is what should raise them) but that didn't work. Does anybody on God's green earth know how to raise those stupid feed dogs???

Rotating the hand wheel will not move them. The lever should slide back from whence it came. Make sure you don't have the needle down among the dogs before you try to move it. The presser foot should also be raised first.\015\012Perhaps some ... Vacuums

The spinning brush on the side kept falling off. I would put it back on as the little screw usually remained with the brush. As I have had it for less than a week, I am considering returning it.
