Hi, check list:
\015\012
\015\0121 - Flat side of the needle is facing the back of the machine.
\015\012
\015\0122 - Threaded machine with the presser foot up - always.
\015\012
\015\0123 - Bobbin thread is feeding from the spool in the correct direction and through the proper guides.
\015\012
\015\012Lower and raise the threaded needle, holding onto the end of the thread.
\015\012
\015\012If this does not pull the bobbin thread up, the timing may need adjusting.

There is a graphic for doing this as sewusa.com or take it into the dealer for service.\015\012\011\011

Jun 24, 2010 - Jun 24, 2010 - Needle not bent/ new needle not answer. I finally conclude that the entire bobbin case is ROTATING in its seat, which jams the needle. The "projection" is against the "spring" when I install it, but I can rotate the bobbin case PAST the spring without trying very hard. Bobbin case MIGHT get held in place better if it were closer to me (front of machine). I feel it is still not out from under needle plate as shown in diagram, but can't keep it closer to f

Hoover Wind Tunnel 7500 Brush not Turning. I have replaced the Brush and the belt. The problem does not seem to be either to me. I believe might be a missing part. The place were the belt hooks on is a metal pole which never seems to grip the belt well. In fact it seems loose most of the time and slips on the brush, causing the belt to eventually burn up. Could there be a missing plastic or rubber piece meant to hold the belt taught  on the metal pole?

So, I was sewing along and heard a thump...kind of sounded like a louder version of what you hear when the needle hits a pin...but I wasn't using pins. This, of course, lead to the thread jamming so I had to clear that. When rethreading I pulled out the bobbin case to make sure it was seated correctly and found a kind of "v" shaped piece of wire (about the width of a paper clip I guess) sitting loose under the bobbin case. I took it out and threw it away. Still can't pull up the bobbin threa

My Kenmore sewing machine timing has gotten off. I am sewing a big upholstery project and it starting bunching thread from the bobbin. The thread is so heavy that I had to put some pressure just to get it undone. This happen a few times and then I found it wasn't sewing at all. When I evaluated without the materials in place I could see the needle would catch on the white plastic piece under the bobbin and the thread would not catch on the metal arm. It appears to be off by 1/4 - 3/8 inch.

I have a Hoover Wind Tunnel that has been used twice both times at Christmas to pick up pine needles. It really has never been used because my cleaning ladies come every week and use their own machine. The problem I have is that the machine just doesn't pick up anything. Can you help. It's not overuse that is the problem!

You may have the ductwork of the cleaner plugged up with the pine needles. First, unplug the hose from the cleaner and find if you have suction into the bag. If so, check the hose and ducts for blockage from the pine needles. ... Vacuums

The last time I sewed with my Necchi the tension was fine. Today when I threaded my needle, the thread felt tight in the upper tension dial. I tried re-threading the machine several times, but it didn't help. Now the parts of the tension dial are all loose and wobbbly and I have no upper tension. Doesn't matter what the dial is set on. The tension dial appears to be broken, but I don't know how that could have happend since I store it in a case.

Kenmore InteliClean 116.35923502 Two, I believe unrelated, problems. 1) The InteliClean sensor lights stay amber and red even when the machine is in the upright position and the suction line is disconnected from the cleaner head. 2) There is a lot of vibration and noise in the agitator roller housing. I picked a little hair out of the roller brushes but other than that they were clean. Thank you for any suggestion you might offer.

I had the same problem with the amber inteliclean light continually on. I found the problem to be in the plastic housing that connects the suction hose to the back of the upright section. Stuck Roller Same problem here. I think in our case, the accumulation of hair and the increasing resistance the hair created over time caused the hair to start melting, and eventually the end cap was stuck to the roller, which prevented the roller from turning. My Riccar 1700 will intermittently lose power while vacuuming. I have had the vacuum for 4 years and this is the second time that I have had this problem. The first time the authorized repairperson said the problem was a dirty hepa filter. The second time, the repairperson put on a "pig-tail"(?) and said that he did not have a shut-down problem when he tested the vacuum in the store. I just picked it up from the store today, brought it home and the same problem occurred within minutes.
