I have a Kenmore 385.19110 model machine, and the straight and zig zag stitches work just fine, but when I follow the directions in the manual to do a satin stitch (which is use the lowest stitch length) it creates a line that isn't perfect, or uniform, and after an inch or two stops catching the bobbin underneath. Have already tried reinserting the bobbin, rethreading the machine, refilling the bobbin, changing the bobbin, cleaning the needle, changing the tension. Wondering if I just got a mac

It sounds like this machine has some kind of fault in it for sure. It can be repaired again, but will likely need to be repaired again after that - down the road. Personally I recommend you just get rid of this unit and go for a different model. Y ... Vacuums

I bought this machine about 3 years ago but hadn't used it due to illness. Now when I tried to sew with the Tuff Sew ,the threads continually break. If I can make about a 3 inch line of staight stitches without the top thread breaking,I consider myself fortunate The direction in the manual are extremely poor. I had to finish my project with my very old Bernina. I regret buying the Tuff Sew straight stitch. JLWebb

The needle is to the left and back of center, frequently hitting the plate and breaking. The hoop came unsnapped while embroidering, and caused needle to bend, stopping the machine. That was no doubt when the shaft that holds the needle became askew. How do I reposition it? I don't see an appropriate category listed below. I have the Janome 6600 P. Beginning a seam the thread knotted and the machine made noise and needle would not move either up or down. I manually moved the needle using the handwheel and cut away the knotted thread. Did that. Referred to the manual, tried manual recommendation. Did not work. I
