Dear Sir/Madam, My old faithful Hamilton Beach Mixer, now 60 years old, is still working but recently I was told by someone who looked at the motor that it needed repair or replacement. Is it still possible to get it in working condition?

Kirby Vacuum Hi Bruce, In my opinion, yes the Kirby would be worth it, as long as you are not replacing the motor. The switch would be the most expensive part besides the motor that would need to be replaced. The switch costs USD 49.99, the cord is roughly $39.99, and the carbon brushes are $29.99. I can easily walk you through any of these repairs should you need help. Kirby's are great vacuum cleaners, that usually last 30+ years. Brand new these machines sell in the US for $1600 or more,

I think I need to replace the main battery in my small floor vac - the one that can be hand held like a dust buster or work like a small floor vac. I need to know how to remove the battery and replace it with what kind of new battery..

I have a 2 fluorescent light fixture in my bathroom. The right side light quit working. I took the starter out of the left side and put it in the right and it worked. Starter, right? Is it possible to have FOUR bad "new" starters? Do I need to replace it with the EXACT same starter? This light fixture is 38 years old. No

I have a Husqvarna Viking Designer sewing machine. The fuse blew in the machine and I am having trouble finding a replacement fuse. It is a T3.5/250v glass fuse. Please let me know where to find one. I have searched the internet high and low and can't find one. Radio Shack has a 3.0amp 250v slow blow fuse whick seems to be the right dimensions. Willl that work.
