Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I have a Shark Euro Sweeper, and it doesn't hold it's charge. I only use it a matter of a few minutes and already the green light turns to orange. I was told it would hold a charge for 30 minutes. So what's the deal?

Answers :

I assume you've had the cleaner for a while and your battery is dying. Batteries can only be recharged a finite number of times and they also suffer from "memory loss" due to not being fully discharged before recharging.
\015\012Basically, you need a new battery. I'm not sure of your location, so I can't recommend a local supplier, however they are available from the manufacturer's website:
\015\012I can't give you a price as I don't know your exact model. but it should be about US$15-20. If you call the manufacturer, they may be able to give you details of a local supplier and an RRP.
\015\012Hope this helps.

Err5 When charging the battery, it starts out flashing amber, but after several minutes it turns red and the err button flashes five times. The troubleshooting says to hold the buttons above and below the power button for ten seconds and this may resolve some software issues. I tried that but it goes back to the amber light then red again. I replaced the battery hoping that was the issue, but it still does the same thing.

I have the IROBOT discovery that just got a new battery. IT ran great! As the battery was dying, I put it into the home base. The "brick" is green, the home base has two green lights and the on/off pulsates red. It never charges though. Eventually the red light stops pulsating. Customer service said to reset it, clean the metal, and nothing works! They told me to just buy another one. The problem is that I know it was working! Help!
