Wiring Two wires (black and red) connected to the slider on/off switch have overheated and melted away the 90degree connectors. Will replacing just the connectors solve the problem or is it more complicated, such as a resistor, capacitor, etc.?

This is easy and hard. If only two wires connect to the switch, cleaning up the connectors and replacing damaged items should fix it. Don't do anything unless the unit is unplugged. Try this first: connect the two wires together and tape them up. ... Electrolux EL5010A Bagged Upright Vacuum

Can the two inlet pipes be connected to one line? The central vacuum I have is probably from 1993/4. It has one exhaust pipe and two inlet pipes. It was initially under my stairs. I would like to move it and have in fact moved it to the garage but am now fitting the pipes. I would like to join the two pipes that were previously going to the two inlets into one pipe. Can I do it? Also would I then join the wires? Would I put a plate on the other inlet? THANKS. It is a SMART president's choice vac

The replacement motor has three electrical connectors + ground were as the orginal has two electrical connectors + ground. Hmmm Hi there, I actually had tried everything you mentioned except for the vinegar idea which I'll do when I get back up to my home in Oregon. I checked for pinches, the heater, etc. Water does NOT come out of the accessory tool and only will dispense out of the main area for a second or two..any liquid actually starts filling up the area right behind the nozzles and around the pump instead of OUT of the machine. My Triton T80 SI shower is leaking from where the outlet pipe assy joins to the heater can assembly. when I checked where the two join together I see that there is a rubber O ring fitting into a recess in the heater can assy. The screws which hold the two parts together does not force a compression between the two parts causing it to leak. Is there another modified unit or am I stuck with what Ive got and should I replace the O ring or the shower.
