Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I purchased a brand new Techno 1000 Fog Machine last Halloween. It worked fine, but once I ran the cleaning fluid through the fog machine only heated up and produced no fog. A year later and now won't even heat up at all, even after replacing the fuse!

We have a dyson dc 07 animal the machine was working fine then switched off after returning to the machine minutes later it wouldnt switch on, i removed on off switch cover and used a short piece of wire across the brown wires flicked the wall switch and it worked, aha i thought faulty switch aquired a new one to no avail and now even the short piece of wire trick doesnt work, has the motor died do you think, it wasnt over heating or making strange noises prior to refusing to work

It could be the motor. I'm having to replace the brushes on my DC 05. It appears that you can only get brushes for the YDK motors in the DYSON, not the Panasonic motor. Which might be saying something about the YDK motors. What happens is that the ca ... Dyson DC05 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

Panasonic NN-SD776S microwave Start button stopped working. I know, the first thought is a bad door switch because "everyone knows a microwave should not turn on if the door is open." I am experienced with electronics, but even the timer won't start at all. Funny thing is, I had this exact model do this exact thing just over 2 years ago - troubleshot all the hardware until I was lost, finally bought a new one from Costco (June 4/08). And now 2 years later this one craps out - a 2 year timer

Folks, My wife and I own a three-year-old Hoover U6434-900 self-propelled "Wind Tunnel" upright vacuum cleaner. The problem is that, even on the highest setting (front-end as high as possible), it gets bogged-down in even shallow pile carpet to the point that the brush stops. I've cleaned the machine thoroughly, pulling hair, thread, dental floss and such from the brush (and everywhere else), including unscrewing the brush end caps and pulling out the cat hair mats which formed in there.

I have a Euro-Pro Shark Steam Pocket Mop. I used it twice last year, and then it stopped producing steam. Is there any way that I could easily fix this without dangerous chemicals? Everytime I call the company, I can't get anyone. The unit heats up, but doesn't produce steam. I've tried white vinegar to no avail. I am afried of using clr after reading that the unit blew up on somoone. I am visually impaired.

After two years, my Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop, Model S3101, no longer ejects steam. I have used tap water. I think the line is clogged with mineral deposits. The light is on when plugged in, and the unit heats up. I even put in vinegar for about an hour to break up the calcium deposits, but it did not correct the problem. How do I fix it, or, where can I take it locally to be fixed (Orange County, CA)?

No steam I am using this product for the first time. I've followed the manual down to the letter, but is doesn't produce or releases any steam. The heating element does operate and the warninglight does turn off but yet there is no steam to be found, even though I'm pressing the lever on the pistolgrip. What can be the problem, and how do I solve it? Thanks in advance. Mrs. Brouwers

Why does my dyson slim dc18 keep shutting down, even though i keep it clean. Filters area is clean and all others have been properly blown out with air from a air compressor. It will work for about 5-10 minutes and then shuts down. Smells like ****, check the belt and a bit later it restarts again. It's seems to be almost over heating.

Maybe your motor is going. Here's a link to a site that talks about motor failure and replacement in a DC07 (not DC18). My VX550CC also shuts down after about 15-20 minutes. My problem is that I can't find my sales receipt. Poor suction I have a hoover hush s5627 vacuum purchased about 4 years ago from Costco. It's suction power isn't so good anymore. I've checked all the lines & hoses and they're clear and I've changed the bag. I even disconnected the pipe from the vacuum unit and held my hand over the intake. While the machine roars like a jet engine the suction power just ain't like it used to be. What could possibly be the problem?

My Reliable T730A Canister Steam Vacuum is not working. The red (empty) light stays on even though its full and it doesn't produce any steam. I doubt that the water is getting down into the heating chamber. How easy is it to take apart and clean or can I just blow compressed air through it? Any help most appreciated. Steve [email protected]

You can probably just blow it out with the air compressor. If you have a air pressure regulator on the air compressor then I would turn it down to about 30-40 psi. Then try to blow out the line. ... Reliable T730A Canister Steam Vacuum

I have had my RCA microwave model # RMW1108 for about 8 months now. It was working fine until yesturday evening. I went to warm up some food for 2 minutes, the microwave itself was on and everything appeared to be working except my food did not get warmed up. I plugged it out and checked all over it for any damage but i could not find anything wrong. What would cause it to just stop heating up the food? Is this type of problem covered in the 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

My first proheat lasted four years so I bought a new one. After I used my Pro Heat for only the fourth time my first issue occured, the gear on the pump that runs the brushes came off, so I had the one from my old proheat, I just changed the gear spindle that is screwed to the pump and fixed that problem but now it will not pump water. That is why I bought a new proheat, I could not get the old one to pump even after a new pump and made sure all lines were not cloged.

Faithful Sebo X1 upright, about 12 years old, stopped working today.
