As I am able to get into the alarm box with the key, does anyone know how to reset it and enter the code? I can't find the manual either. Thanks to anyone able to help with this!

Wondering if the head is plugged up because it makes a sound like air is escaping somewhere. I've replaced the original cloth bag with a comparable "O" paper bag from Sears. I tried to see if there was a clog in the hose by placing a broom handle in the hose to see if something would loosen. I also cleaned the filter and the air filter. If the head is plugged, how can I fix it? We can't get the vacuum apart. Thanks.

Hi, I have a Dirt Devil Model # M08100REDC. I desperately need to change the bag, but I don't see an obvious way to do it. I'm afraid to try pulling on the cloth tab thingy that's just below the handle, between the rubber ring that holds the bag on the vac, because it seems like stuff will fly everywhere from the force required to remove it, and I might not be able to get it back on there. Should I just pull on that cloth tab until the bag comes off? Thanks, Roberta

You can pull on the tab to remove the bag, but probably a better way is to gently pull on the rubber ring that attaches the bag to the back of the vacuum body.
