Hi. We've got a Dyson DC17 "Animal". It's clogged, and we are unable to separate the purple cyclone cap from the main cyclone body to get to the problem. We've heard of 4 torx screws that take some interesting tactics to access. I've been through this thing with a flashlight, and torx tools for a protracted period, and even after removing the torx screws was unable to ultimately separate the two pieces (main body from purple cap assembly). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx -

I have a Royal 7910 extractor and even though I vacuum before cleaning the carpet, by black cocker spaniel's hair gets pulled into the plastic pick-up attachment and I cannot find an easy way to clean it out. I have tried taking the screws out to separate the halves, but it seems as though they might be glues together. I have run water from a sink sprayer though the openings with some degree of success, but it still is pretty cruddy. I have tried snaking pipe smokers pipe cleaners up the pick

Our plug got pulled out (by driving away while the canister was still plugged-in after a vacuuming the car). How can we open up the unit to reattach the wires? We accessed two sets of screws (2pairs) toward the bag-end (not the motor-end) of the canister, but we can't locate any access for the two other apparent screws inside the body.

Remove all visible screws. Top and bottom, then once they are all removed, take a flat-head screwdriver and slowly pry around the canister until it comes completely loose and can be removed. Then you should have access to the wires which can then be ... Electrolux EL7020A Oxygen 3 Ultra Canister Vacuum Cleaner Bagged Vacuum

My Triton T80 SI shower is leaking from where the outlet pipe assy joins to the heater can assembly. when I checked where the two join together I see that there is a rubber O ring fitting into a recess in the heater can assy. The screws which hold the two parts together does not force a compression between the two parts causing it to leak. Is there another modified unit or am I stuck with what Ive got and should I replace the O ring or the shower.
