The beater brush on my vacuum appears to roll when I turn on the vacuum however, you only hear the actual sound of it on occasion and the vacuum is not vacuuming thread off the floor.

Borrowed Brother XR7700 Sewing Machine 1st: Sewed one inch OK; moved fabric and it stopped sewing, motor made thudding noise. When push-button (NOT pedal) is used, gives error E6, consistent with motor noise. 2d: In order to check threading had to manually PULL bobbin case toward me or it was UNDER needle plate. Cleaned a fair amount of dust out. Reinstalled bobbin, etc., per manual, rethreaded. 3rd: Will sew 2-3 stitches, then packs up again just like in 1st instance above. Have st

Replacement parts... I've got a 3594 Bissell and the belt has come completely off. In the process of breaking, it bent the metal guide inside the motor housing and melted the plastic that holds the guide and keeps the belt inline with the roller. I've got it running again by using a screw I filed all the threads off of, but it only works for 10 minutes at a time before breaking another belt. This process is getting expensive, as it usually takes 30 minutes to completely vacuum the house. Is ther

Folks, My wife and I own a three-year-old Hoover U6434-900 self-propelled "Wind Tunnel" upright vacuum cleaner. The problem is that, even on the highest setting (front-end as high as possible), it gets bogged-down in even shallow pile carpet to the point that the brush stops.
