250 Watt mixer. The from seal has broken down and fluid is ozzing out the front end of the mixer. Request front seal.

Answers :

Hello jamesfh. Go to your local appliance store or kitchen supply store for this common part. Bring along the mixer or the seal and the brand and model of the machine. If they do not have the seal in stock they will be able to order one for you. IF you do not have such a store locally, any hardware store will sell you a sheet of gasket material from which you can cut a new seal using the old seal as a pattern. Just cut it with a sharp exacto knife, also available at the local hardware store. Joe

Kirby Heritage II. Beater bar does not turn. One end rotates freely, but the other sticks, preventing the bar from rotating. No obvious means to disassemble the end of the bar. Is there a way to repair this, or does this require replacement of the beater bar? Did clean the front end assembly, and removed all hair, threads and similar obstructions.

The bearing is bad on the end that turns hard. You will need to purchase a new brush roll assembly. If the roller is older that 4 or 5 years, it should be changed anyway. The brush strips that scrub the carpet loose their strength after many years of ... Vacuums

It is not clear how to access the front spool on a Eureka 'Boss - smartvac' 4870K vacuum cleaner, when replacing the belt. Trying to force the flimsy black plastic lever attached to the shiny silver spool where the front end of the belt appears as if it should go, would cause breakage.

The shiny spool is the mechanism that stops the brushroll (brushroll control). The belt only slips around the brushroll, and the motor spindle. ... Eureka Smartvac 4870 Bagged Upright Vacuum

Sometimes while I'm vacuuming, the front of the vacuum makes a horrible noise. If I lift up the front end, it stops. Any ideas?

Folks, My wife and I own a three-year-old Hoover U6434-900 self-propelled "Wind Tunnel" upright vacuum cleaner. The problem is that, even on the highest setting (front-end as high as possible), it gets bogged-down in even shallow pile carpet to the point that the brush stops. I've cleaned the machine thoroughly, pulling hair, thread, dental floss and such from the brush (and everywhere else), including unscrewing the brush end caps and pulling out the cat hair mats which formed in there.

Check to see if the V belt sits too deep in the brushroll groove, if it sits too deep you will need to replace the brushroll. the top of the belt should be about flush with the brushroll. also you have to take the screws out of the self propelled uni ... Vacuums

I posted my problem earlier today that I was having with my Bissell Little Green Machine not dispensing solution, but sucked up no problem. Someone said that the most common problem was a blockage. We put hot water in the reservoir for 15 minutes as advised and it still will not dispense. The fluid is now ''dribbling''so it is better. It is just not spraying. We are able to blow from the end and make bubbles in the reservoir which shows us it is not blocked. Any other suggestions?

Okay. I fixed this on mine. Undo the screws on the handle, right by the trigger. You pull the tubes off the little valve. Push on the button and see if you can blow through the valve. If not, push a pin around in the valve (with it pushed into the ... Bissell 1720-1 Little Green Wet/Dry Vacuum

My wife's Viking 6690 smoked this last weekend. I opened up the end where the power switches are and the board had a 0.01 ufd capacitor the blew up. That would be easy enough to repair. However when the Cap blew, it also fried a small quarter watt resistor that sits just under the upper white pin connector on the board. The resistor is burnt beyond recognition and I am trying to find its value. Is there a schematic available for that board or a closeup picture of the board so that I could

According to you your machine's resistor burnt out. This resistor is located above the 240 volt capacitor which white base. change the resistor soon. For color code of the resistor you can follow the ... Vacuums

Dyson vacuum I have a DC07 vaccuum. The problem I am having is that the front does not want to stay down as I vaccuum and I continuously have to keep stepping on the front to make it go back down to the floor. It seems as though there is either not enough weight in the front or possibly the unit just has to be broken in so that there is not so much resistance between the handle and the front of the vaccuum. Could there be something I did not remove or is this typical on these vaccuums?

I have a Flotec shallow well FP4122-08. A burglar stood on the pump this summer to gain access to my goats building (window). There's a small black tube that came off at both ends. When I put the tube back on, it shoots right back off as soon as the pump is plugged in.
