November 2008 I bought a Simac Stirella 9000D steam generator iron. Recently its been leaking water out the bottom of the regenerator. It makes a noise when it is trying to get the steam to the iron and it works then but afterwards when the noise stops it stops steaming and I find a puddle of water underneath the regenerator. Also a little steam comes out of the water tank at the top. I understand this is happening because of scale in the base unit. Can I get something to get rid of the scale? -

Make sure you're using a polyester thread (I use maxilock serger thread) then a stretch needle, and hold the tails of your thread until you get started into the seam so the fabric cannot push down into the opening on the throat plate.\015\012 ... Vacuums

I have the Janome 6600 P. Beginning a seam the thread knotted and the machine made noise and needle would not move either up or down. I manually moved the needle using the handwheel and cut away the knotted thread. Did that. Referred to the manual, tried manual recommendation. Did not work. I

After reading the service manual I'm suspecting the "thread check spring" is not functioning properly. The manual gives steps how to adjust it, but it d

The last time I sewed with my Necchi the tension was fine. Today when I threaded my needle, the thread felt tight in the upper tension dial. I tried re-threading the machine several times, but it didn't help. Now the parts of the tension dial are all loose and wobbbly and I have no upper tension. Doesn't matter what the dial is set on. The tension dial appears to be broken, but I don't know how that could have happend since I store it in a case.
