Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I changed the belt on a Eureka WhirlWind superlite, all was well but I can't seem to find where this white piece of plastic approx.2" and less than 1/2" wide and there is a copper like V shaped clip, I was hoping maybe you's had a diagram or something showing where these go. Much Appreciated

\015\012Hello,
\015\012I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
\015\012I would suggest contacting your local vac dealer in your area to she id they have a schematic of the Eureka Whirlwind Superlite vacuum, and include the model number so that it would be easier to find the vacuum you are speaking of or you also can check on line, some factory manufacturer have some type of schematics that you can download using the name and model # of the vacuum, but this is not a guarantee, So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

So, I was sewing along and heard a thump...kind of sounded like a louder version of what you hear when the needle hits a pin...but I wasn't using pins. This, of course, lead to the thread jamming so I had to clear that. When rethreading I pulled out the bobbin case to make sure it was seated correctly and found a kind of "v" shaped piece of wire (about the width of a paper clip I guess) sitting loose under the bobbin case. I took it out and threw it away. Still can't pull up the bobbin threa

That part was the hook end of the spring that was supposed to put tension on the bobbin - it will have to be replaced. This is a special flat spring that unfortunately only a repair shop of a dealer has it - you will have to take your machine to one. ... Vacuums

I've never had to change a CFL bulb like the GE 35972 in my kitchen ceiling fixture. It looks like a squared off pretzel with the socket in the middle and facing up to the ceiling. It's been in there for years -- this is a rental -- and because it's so close to the ceiling, I can't tell where to pull the pins from the socket apart without breaking it. Any instructions or suggestions? Also, my Home Depot doesn't sell it; will the pins match a different CFL, like maybe a circular one?

CFL bulbs are held in place by a friction fit, but it is a very tight fit. Grasp the CFL by the sqaure plastic base and pull firmly away from the socket. You may have to wiggle it a little, but don't try to pull it out by the globe because they are ... GE Vacuums

Motor is sparking and smells like burning rubber. When it first happened I thought the vacuum had something jamming the beater bar. That was the smell it had, like when the belt gets burned. But when we turned it over, it wasn't jamming. Took off the base plate and turned it on. The motor area is sparking and it makes a weird noise (I assume that is because the motor fails and restarts). I looked for loose wires, can't find any. I believe I need some sort of part replaced, maybe even a n

Our Bissell Cleanview II 3576M does a great job except that the filter cup below the dirt cup gets full very fast and the dirt cup barely has anything in it. To clean the whole house, I have to empty the dirt cup and clean the filter several times. It didn't use to work this way. It seems like something is missing, a gasket or seal maybe? I don't think dirt, hair and debris should be going straight to the lower cup and bypassing the upper. I looked at the user guide but can't see why it's happen

Hello, I got a used Kirby Sentria. When I run the vaccum and push and pull on the handle, I can hearing a friction type noise. I got up close to the vaccum and it is not the wheels or roller. It is coming from the base of the handle. It's like it is pushing on something on the vaccum body and is creating the noise. Maybe transmission? Is this normal, or is it something I should be concerned about? Thanks for your help!
