Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I have a Digiweigh scale that will not turn on after I have changed the batteries, but worked fine before I did. Any advice? Thanks!

Answers :

Are the "new" batteries charged. It is not that un-usual for new batteries to be dead after sitting in a drawer for a while or on a store's shelf. Check the new batteries voltage and I think that you will see that the new batteries are really not that new after all.

Singer 327 lower bobbin thread is wild and loopy after I sew...top stitch fine. Just changed to a large thread spool with the heavy remote base and crook to carry thread to machine and wonder if this changed tension (set at 4 and correctly threaded)? It had been working fine in zigzag but I also went back to reg foot and set stitch width at 0, center needle set. Thanks for your input and help. Deanna

I have a Howard Miller Westminster Chime Mantle Clock. It has always worked fine. It stopped working and my husband took the battery out to change it and when the new battery is in it will not work. It is Model 613-=103 movt 354201J dial 272142J. The part you put the battery in almost looks too big for one double A but I can't see how two would fit. I am afraid the battery is just not in right. Can you help me with how many batteries go in this clock or if it is one what the problem could be.

My dc 05 isnt working and i cant understand why , i have cleaned all filters etc and i also changed the fuse on the plug , which after i didi that it attempted to start but then jus cut out again so i thought the fuse had blown again , so i checked the fuse but its working fine could there still be a blockage somewhere in it or is it something electrical which means my dyson has to go to the dump :(

Most common cause of this problem is a wire broken inside the flex, usually either just where it leaves the plug (easy to fix) or at the other end (more of a problem). In either case, this is no reason to dump the machine - it can be fixed at a fract ... Dyson DC05 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

Won't work My Eureka Mighty Mite 3670 Bagged, was working fine, and we unplugged it to switch to another outlet in another room and it just stopped. We tried several other outlets and it just won't turn on. We thought maybe it got hot because we had been using it for a while and we let it rest for a while and then changed the bag just to be sure, although it was not full. But it still will not turn on. Any ideas?

I changed the motor in my Dyson Animal hoover and works fine but after 15 minutes it stops as if it was turned off, if i leave it for a period (2 hrs)it will start up again and work for a further 15 mins before shutting down.

Hi thereAll Dyson vacuum cleaners are fitted with a thermal cutout, which will switch off the motor if it becomes too hot. This is normally caused by a lack of airflow to the motor, i.e caused by a blockage or a dirty filter. ... Dyson DC05 Cylinder Bagless Canister Cyclonic Vacuum

I have a Kenmore 385.19110 model machine, and the straight and zig zag stitches work just fine, but when I follow the directions in the manual to do a satin stitch (which is use the lowest stitch length) it creates a line that isn't perfect, or uniform, and after an inch or two stops catching the bobbin underneath. Have already tried reinserting the bobbin, rethreading the machine, refilling the bobbin, changing the bobbin, cleaning the needle, changing the tension. Wondering if I just got a mac

My Vacuum DC-17 has just quit sucking. It has been making quite a racket since I had the belt changed at a repair shop several months ago. I was told that the belt was a new design and figured that was why it was making so much noise. it seemed to work fine, was picking up dirt and all, but today, when I started vacumming, I noticed it was not sucking air either with the belt engaged or not. My vacuum is approx. 5 years old.

Hello! I have a problem with my Tefal Sensio scales. They are now probably around four years' old and have been in perfect working order up to now. Well, I had some problems before - the moment I'd step on them, instead of going into "calculating mode" as they usually do, they would show the number 92 straight away and then the display would change into some strange symbols (please don't laugh here :-) - my weight in kg is 55, my husband's around 80 and each of us gets 92 reading). I have a mile tt2000 that works fine up to 1300W but if I crank it up higher the motor decreases and increases speed every couple of seconds. I have changed the bag and filters and done the usual cheCks for blockages but can find nothing amiss. Unusually when it is running and I block the intake it will run at full power but as soon as I clear it the motor "hunts" again. Any ideas.

My dc14 animal works fine in Vaccuum mode but when I switch to the extendable tool the sound of the vaccuum changes to a higher pitch noise and I get very little suction through the hose. Any suggestion

WST 1600A I purchased this vaccum about four months ago from Heartland America. Up to this point it's worked fine. After cleaning it this time when I went to start vaccuming again it runa for about 10 seconds and cuts off. I've changed the battery, taken everything that can be removed out checked it and replaced it. THe motor sounds like it's straining. My Oreck XL was working fine, then when I vacuumed a shag rug is started smoking and smelled like something is burning. (I changed the bag, checked for clogs--none found, and roller brush is turning. It has a metal handle.) Now I am afraid to use it.

Even though the brush is spinning, the belt is probably worn out and stretched. when you vacuum the shag carpet, it puts more drag on the brush. try running it on a shorter carpet or hard floor for a few minutes. if it doesn't smoke, then you know i ... Oreck XL2000 Bagged Upright Vacuum

My Dyson DC17 beater bar motor works intermittedly. I have to almost whack it on the floor to turn it on and then shuts off again. Have a Centralux Aerus about 5 years old. Don't see a model number. There is suction but beater brush quit working. Was using for a few minutes, shut it off for a few minutes, turned it back on and suction only. Tried the reset button also. Tried the sidekick attachment and it works fine. There was no smell like something was hot. Belt is fine. Are there any fuses or anything else to try? This vacuum cleaner has not really been used that much, it is hard to believe the motor would need replaced
