It sounds like this machine has some kind of fault in it for sure. It can be repaired again, but will likely need to be repaired again after that - down the road. Personally I recommend you just get rid of this unit and go for a different model. Y ... Vacuums
I bought this machine about 3 years ago but hadn't used it due to illness. Now when I tried to sew with the Tuff Sew ,the threads continually break. If I can make about a 3 inch line of staight stitches without the top thread breaking,I consider myself fortunate The direction in the manual are extremely poor. I had to finish my project with my very old Bernina. I regret buying the Tuff Sew straight stitch. JLWebb

My Kenmore sewing machine timing has gotten off. I am sewing a big upholstery project and it starting bunching thread from the bobbin. The thread is so heavy that I had to put some pressure just to get it undone. This happen a few times and then I found it wasn't sewing at all. When I evaluated without the materials in place I could see the needle would catch on the white plastic piece under the bobbin and the thread would not catch on the metal arm. It appears to be off by 1/4 - 3/8 inch.

I have the Janome 6600 P. Beginning a seam the thread knotted and the machine made noise and needle would not move either up or down. I manually moved the needle using the handwheel and cut away the knotted thread. I began sewing again but instead of starting at the edge began about a half inch down, forward stitched, reversed to lock threads and problem repeated and received the message to "Stop for safety purposes". Did that. Referred to the manual, tried manual recommendation. Did not work. I

Borrowed Brother XR7700 Sewing Machine 1st: Sewed one inch OK; moved fabric and it stopped sewing, motor made thudding noise. When push-button (NOT pedal) is used, gives error E6, consistent with motor noise. 2d: In order to check threading had to manually PULL bobbin case toward me or it was UNDER needle plate. Cleaned a fair amount of dust out. Reinstalled bobbin, etc., per manual, rethreaded. 3rd: Will sew 2-3 stitches, then packs up again just like in 1st instance above. Have st

Singer 327 lower bobbin thread is wild and loopy after I sew...top stitch fine. Just changed to a large thread spool with the heavy remote base and crook to carry thread to machine and wonder if this changed tension (set at 4 and correctly threaded)? It had been working fine in zigzag but I also went back to reg foot and set stitch width at 0, center needle set. Thanks for your input and help. Deanna

The last time I sewed with my Necchi the tension was fine. Today when I threaded my needle, the thread felt tight in the upper tension dial. I tried re-threading the machine several times, but it didn't help. Now the parts of the tension dial are all loose and wobbbly and I have no upper tension. Doesn't matter what the dial is set on. The tension dial appears to be broken, but I don't know how that could have happend since I store it in a case.

Replacement parts... I've got a 3594 Bissell and the belt has come completely off. In the process of breaking, it bent the metal guide inside the motor housing and melted the plastic that holds the guide and keeps the belt inline with the roller. I've got it running again by using a screw I filed all the threads off of, but it only works for 10 minutes at a time before breaking another belt.
