Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I have a new Toyota RS2000 that I was bought as a gift. I received it without a manual which I have now obtained, but now I have gone to use it the power lead does not seem to fit into the machine. Is it possible I was supplied the wrong lead or am I doing something wrong?

Answers :

It is quite possible that you were supplied the wrong lead, seeing that the manual was missing, the contents of the package might well have been tampered with. Contact the person who gave you the machine and ask them to either check with the dealer, or go see the dealer yourself, even if you see another dealer for these machines, I am sure they will be willing to help you.

I cannot fit a Miele SF-AH 50 Active HEPA filter into my S524 Miele vacuum. It doesn't seem to have the rear tabs in the right place to push it into place all the way. When I put it into the place, the top won't close. I'm afraid I'll break something if I force it down. What is wrong?

I have Optima, 12amp Eureka vacuum, Model 431, AXZ type and the extension hose for cleaning corners and edges --the plastic part that the attachments fit into has a piece broken off and tools don;t fit anymore. It looks like the hose attachment can be replaced--can it be and if so--where can I get a new hose attachment. It seems it is cheaply made of plastic and really shouldn't have broken a piece off.

The water tank on my bissell proheat 2x is not keeping the clean and dirty water separate. I;ve checked the container and there doesn't seem to have anything wrong with it. Also when I switch the machine on you can see the "washing" action, after a few minutes this seems to stop - there is water and forumula in the machine. Only had it a year!

I have a model 1315 sears sewing machine and have a new walking foot that doesn't seem to fit or allow me to stitch.......is there a fix? The walking foot is a kenmore brand and we thought it would fit all kenmores?

I am sure that you realize that it has to be for a low shank machine and that you have to take off the presser foot and use the screw to clamp the walking foot on, and the fingers must be on the take up lever screw. Be sure to check the shank size. ... Vacuums

Generation 4 Apparently, my belt came off while vacumming. I had a lot of hari entwind on the roller, so cleaned off the hair.... but now I can't seem to get the belt to stay "in place". My filter queen majestic quit working. I opened up the unit to see what was wrong and I did not immediately notice anything wrong. Upon furter examination I noticed one of the traces on the printed circuit card was burnt. I used a soldering iron to "bridge the trace and it appeared to fix the problem for a while. Now it has stopped working again, and when I jumper the trace to run the motor it seems to work. Should I just replace the card? Or is there a more serious problem with too much current

I recommend replacing the card. Soldering involves the risk of further damaging the card, so it would be useless anyway. Why waste valuable time?\015\012There is a possibility of the motor overheating, generally due to a blockage in the airfl ... Filter Queen Majestic Canister Vacuum

When I vacuum w/ the brush control in the on position it make a really loud noise, almost like a grinding sound. I have looked at it and nothing seems to be wrong, but I notice that the pin that engages the belt seems to vibrate a bit, possibly creating the noise. It started when I accidentally got part of a plastic grocery bag caught in the brush. Could it have stretched a belt? Nothing is caught any other place and it only makes the noise when the brush in in the on position.

Yes, the belt could have been stretched and is now vibrating and hitting other parts and creating a noise if much of the bag got caught under the belt. I have a Miele S1721 Powerhouse upright vacuum. When the belt broke I took it into the shop (because when i tried to replace the belt, the tension was so tight I couldn't get it back together!!). When I got it home I DISCOVERED THAT THE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT DIDN'T WORK anymore. It seems like it's set really hight, because it no longer contacts and brushes the carpet. So it's now useless. I went back to the shop and the tech denied that there was anything wrong. (I didn't have the vac with me). No
