My Bernina 807 set on min. speed takes off fast, doesn't go slow at all, although there is a difference in the slow speed setting and high speed setting if I switch from one to the other while stitching. The machine is well oiled and goes well apart from this. I would like min. speed to start smoothly and slowly. I have read it could be capacitor in foot, but DH says it does not look burnt out. Would it help my problem to remove it? thank you, Barbara

The motor that came with this industrial machine is a Tacsew Clutch Motor model: RM1878-1H. It is way too fast when starting out and usually breaks the thread. My HEPA Shark Model 238 is great when the moter operates at high speed. However, periodically, it slows down resulting in no turbo action and virtually no pick up of eve the lighted dustball! Sometimes a good swift kick will bring the moter speed back to "HI", but sometimes no matter what, it won't speed up.rnHELP!

If the motor is over heating, it will slow down and may even stop all together. A solid knock could reset the thermal switch prematurely. Clean it as best you can around the motor and try it again. I have a remote Hunter Ceiling Fan w/ remote 1-2-3 fan speed buttons and one on/off/dimmer light button. Model Number CP-9110R. It only has one pull string and it is for the light. I would like convert the light to work off of a simple wall on/off switch and the fan to be controlled by a 3-speed pull string. Can I by-pass all the sensors and make it work?

I see noone has answered so I will.Yes,it could be done, but if there is not a conversion kit for your fan,it would not be wise to do it.For starters, all of the things required would probably cost at least $15.Also,there is at least one tool you would ... Vacuums

Window 3 gives an option to set something between 0 and 2500. Oregon say they only have one set of instructions for the BAR888 but they do not match my instrument as there is nothing included for my window 3. Trouble is I don't know what the 0 to 2500 relates to and therefore don't know what to set it at.(My model does n

I have what I thought to be a Kirby Classic Omega that is in excellent running condition and looks great. I love it and have been using it for years, but it is recently going through an identity crises! I looked on the identification plate under the motor while cleaning it and discovered that the ID sticker says it's a Kirby Classic III. How can this be when every part of my dear kirby is Omega brown? There is not a hint of Red or Rosewood! Is there another way to determine the actual model b

The Kirby Omega was made from 1973 to 1976.The classic III 1976 to 1979When in for repair the case (motor cover) from a Classic could be put on the Omega. This happens in repair shops if the teck. has two apart at the same time and was no ... Vacuums

I have a Kirby G7 and it will run on the low speed setting. When i switch to the high speed it starts to spark and smoke near the back of the motor near the windings. Do i have a motor going bad or is there a simpler fix.

It's probably doing that on low speed too, you just aren't noticing. What you'll have to do is get to the motor. Look at the armature and see if it's scared, missing an pieces, scratched up.. if so, then your motor is shot, throw it away.. If not, if ... Vacuums

I have a VX3000C Broan vacuum and the motor sometimes runs lower and comes back to normal time and time. Plus, now it lamost stops before coming back to normal speed. Can someone explain to me what that might be or if it did happen to someone else? It doesn't stop, but runs at very low speed and come back. It is like if a connection is not made properly. But it does the same at my 3 connections and I did check the one on the vaccuum itselfs.
