I have a Sunbeam Model Number 4065-000 and there is white particles comming out of the holes in the bottom. I think it is because we used tap water and there is a lot of deposits in the water. I read on the box that it was ok to use tap water and not distilled water. Is ther any way to clean the inside out to get the deposits cleaned out without affecting the possibility of doing something to the cloths that I will iron after cleaning the iron?

If the deposits are recent and still fairly soft, running a tank of vinegar through the machine should remove the deposits (obviously not using on any clothes, hold it over a sink). if the deposits are more stubborn, you can use a cleaning agent like ... Sunbeam Vacuums

I have a bissell quickwash 1950-e. I bought it Jan. 2006, and have only used it 8-10 times, I live in a very hard water area, so I though if I put some vinegar in with the cleaning solution it would get rid of any hard water deposits, unfortunatly the solution went lumpy in the tank and stoped spraying out water, I have opened it, hose clean, sprayer not blocked, x at bottom of water container when depresed water trickles out, component that opens the x when water container placed, also ran wate

After two years, my Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop, Model S3101, no longer ejects steam. I have used tap water. I think the line is clogged with mineral deposits. The light is on when plugged in, and the unit heats up. I even put in vinegar for about an hour to break up the calcium deposits, but it did not correct the problem. How do I fix it, or, where can I take it locally to be fixed (Orange County, CA)?

My HAAN Garment steamer was only intermittently releasing steam. I cleaned it out since there was some mineral deposits in there. After cleaning it out, I let it run for a while with distilled water and the same thing was happening. So, I called HAAN and they told me to troubleshoot. This entailed taking all the water out of the system and "shaking it out." Then to put new water in and turn it on. I was to do this three times and call them if it didn't work. After the third time, I realiz

My Bissell Quicksteamer Model 1960-R won't spray cleaning solution. I have cleaned it and taken apart the whole thing. I can't find any problems. The holes are not cloged where the water comes out as I disconnected it and blew through it to be sure. The lines show water trying to go through. It is as if it doesn't have enough power to pump the water out when I squeeze the trigger. I am thinking it is the pump thing but can't find a replacement part for it.

Poor cleaning I recently bought the Shark Steam Mop as I read mainly fantastic reviews. I was disappointed to find that it leaves a slight film on my dark hardwood floors when finished. I can wipe the film away with my finger and you can see foot prints if walked over. I also found that there are cloth streaks on my ceramic floors after drying as well. I followed all instructions, vacuumed beforehand, used distilled water even though my water is not considered hard, cleaned slowly, etc. I am wo

My steam pocket mop seems clogged. Steam does not come out of the mop head. The clog appears to be in the rectangular mop head. The triangular head still works fine. I've tried soaking it in hot water and soaking it with cleaning solutions. They have not worked. If I blow into the connection piece, no air goes through. That's what leads me to believe there is a clog. If you can help, please do. I like the product and haven't been able to use it for awhile because of this. Thanks.

No water I have a Bissell 1694 and it is not ejecting the water cleaner solution out of the front of the machine. The belts are ok. The two nozzels and hoses are not clogged and do not have any holes. I think the pump still works because water still comes out of the brush tool.

It is easy to take the top off. Mine has just 6 screws. Then you can see all the tubing and parts. For example, you can unclip the nozzles and see if water flows. Try blowing through the nozzle to see if it is plugged.\015\012\015\012Some people s ... Bissell Powersteamer 1694 Upright Vacuum

The soap dispenser on my 2X is not dispensing. I wrote with this initial problem and received a reply. We did everything recommended to find a clog. To begin with, we poked holes thru the little holes on the underside with a toothpick. Next we took the machine all apart as directed and cleaned out anything that had accumulated (such as pet hair). Eventually we emptied out the soap dispenser, filled it with a hot salt water solution and let it sit for 10 min. I ran three tanks of hot water
