Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I have the porcelain coated pans and the kids burnt chilled cheese and just can't seem to get it clean now

Answers :

You can use spray-on oven cleaner, such as "Easy Off" or any similar store brand. Do not use oven cleaner on Aluminum pans, pans with non-stick coatings, or pots/pans with plastic or rubber handles. Wear rubber gloves when working with oven cleaner. It is a very powerful cleaner and can burn your skin.
  1. Put the pan in your empty kitchen sink.
  2. \015\012
  3. Spray it on generously with oven cleaner.
  4. \015\012
  5. Leave it overnight, 8 hours or so.
  6. \015\012
  7. In the morning thoroughly rinse and wipe all the areas you sprayed, including the sink.
You should have a clean pan and a clean sink. Refer to the oven cleaner's label for further instructions and safety hazards. Choose the type of oven cleaner that suits your needs. In my experience, "Fume Free" oven cleaners take longer and don't work as well. Seemingly, the more noxiously fumed cleaners, ie ones containing Lye (Sodium Hydroxide), work better and faster.\015\012
\015\012This works for porcelain coated pots/pans, stainless steel, steel, glass, etc. Do not use oven cleaner on aluminum pans, pans with non-stick coatings, or pots/pans with plastic or rubberized handles.

I have a Napoleon Pellet stove insert Model NPI40. When the fire burn rate is extremely low it seems to operate normally. However, when I turn the heat up even a little I eventually get a high pitched noise that seems to be coming from the convection blower. Changing the speed of the blower has no effect on the noise level. I cleaned the blower but did not remove it. There was very little dust on it. Cleaning had no effect on the volum or pitch of the noise.

My theory is based upon 1st hand knowledge with a newer EPA compliant freestanding wood burner, with the air-tight and high efficiency ratings.its possible that its just the high rate of air moving through the air chambers , similar to a o ... Kenmore Whispertone 23312 Bagged Canister Vacuum

My Kirby 2HD has started making an odd roaring noise but still works fine. I have taken the front assembly off and cleaned and adjusted the roller and checked the belt. The noise seems to come from the motor housing. I have tried to wiggle the main shaft at the front (bearings?) and it seems tight. Can't seem to get the other housings apart. Any ideas? Thanks, John

It is quite possible, it just needs lubed. The motor comes in direct contact with dirt so, you have to make sure the front bearing has a drop of oil on it from time to time. If it starts to scream at you within one month, after oiling, the bearing ... Kirby Heritage II Vacuum

Our Bissell Cleanview II 3576M does a great job except that the filter cup below the dirt cup gets full very fast and the dirt cup barely has anything in it. To clean the whole house, I have to empty the dirt cup and clean the filter several times. It didn't use to work this way. It seems like something is missing, a gasket or seal maybe?
