Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I have Necchi Lydia 544, inheretade, and don't know which way the needle is fixed! what side does the flat part of the needle face? Also, what are the two bobbin holders on behind the main body of the machine, and how do they work? And, how the hairy heck! do I thread it? finally, for now! How do I get the bobbin holder to ...a...hold the bobbin, and b...make it stay in the machine, ..well, it obviously attaches in one way only, and I cannot find that way!? Thanks, Yvonne.

Hi,

Here are some websites with useful information on your machine:
http://www.free-guitar-tablature.com/Lydia.html This one shows how to take the bobbin case out with pictures.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbEMwLNzsG4 This one is a video to show how to thread it.

Here is a site where you can buy a manual. Couldn't find a free one for you: http://www.sewusa.com/Sewing_Machine_Manuals/Necchi_Manuals/542_544_Lydia_MK2_Instruction_Manual.htm

Here is a site where you can also buy a pdf download document: https://2instructions.com/search.php?cmarque=NECCHI%20LYDIA%20MK2&modele=%20TYPE%20544

And, lastly, I'm including this website which has a lot of information where you can also write in and ask the "doc" questions: http://sewvacdoctor.com/index.asp

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

My Janome Harmony 8100 will occasionally stop and give me a System Error #1 - I cannot find anything about this error. It is a computerized machine with 70 stiches and attachable embroidery hoop. I first started getting this error with the hoop and now get it when I am just sewing. As soon as the needle goes down to the bobbin, I get the error. The machine freezes and the only way to get rid of the error is to turn the machine off. Sometimes I can get the machine going again, but now it wil

Jun 24, 2010 - Jun 24, 2010 - Needle not bent/ new needle not answer. I finally conclude that the entire bobbin case is ROTATING in its seat, which jams the needle. The "projection" is against the "spring" when I install it, but I can rotate the bobbin case PAST the spring without trying very hard. Bobbin case MIGHT get held in place better if it were closer to me (front of machine). I feel it is still not out from under needle plate as shown in diagram, but can't keep it closer to f

My Kenmore sewing machine timing has gotten off. I am sewing a big upholstery project and it starting bunching thread from the bobbin. The thread is so heavy that I had to put some pressure just to get it undone. This happen a few times and then I found it wasn't sewing at all. When I evaluated without the materials in place I could see the needle would catch on the white plastic piece under the bobbin and the thread would not catch on the metal arm. It appears to be off by 1/4 - 3/8 inch.

I have a Kenmore 385.19110 model machine, and the straight and zig zag stitches work just fine, but when I follow the directions in the manual to do a satin stitch (which is use the lowest stitch length) it creates a line that isn't perfect, or uniform, and after an inch or two stops catching the bobbin underneath. Have already tried reinserting the bobbin, rethreading the machine, refilling the bobbin, changing the bobbin, cleaning the needle, changing the tension. Wondering if I just got a mac

The needle is to the left and back of center, frequently hitting the plate and breaking. The hoop came unsnapped while embroidering, and caused needle to bend, stopping the machine. That was no doubt when the shaft that holds the needle became askew. How do I reposition it? I don't see an appropriate category listed below. I have a Singer Model #4562 sewing machine. I am having trouble adjusting the tension. Everytime I try and turn the knob to adjust the bobbin just gets looser. Right now it just snags and gets caught underneath the material and bunches up into a big ball. There is a lot of thread inside the bobbin case that came out of the bobbin and has to be cut out to free the material. How do I fix this mess. I am a novice at this. Make sure you're using a polyester thread (I use maxilock serger thread) then a stretch needle, and hold the tails of your thread until you get started into the seam so the fabric cannot push down into the opening on the throat plate.\015\012 ... Vacuums

Our beautiful Bernina 730 sewing machine has been stored in the garage in its original case, and that wrapped in plastic, for a few years now. Temperatures have been both hot and cold in the garage, but the environment was dust-free. We have brought the Bernina in, set it up, oiled it as specified in the manual, with the original sewing machine oil. We have correctly threaded the machine and the bobbin thread is up. When we press on the pedal to sew, the machine gets electricity and buzzes
