My FEIN 9-55-'13 recently started making more noise and is now officially a "screamer". There also developed quite a vibration associated with the noise which made me think it was probably bearings. So I took it apart and found no detectable play or lateral movement in the bearings, they seem fine to me. So I thought perhaps the brushes. The rotor where the brushes ride is quite black but I can't figure out how to get to those brushes, although I don't really think they are causing the noise

This problem is only caused by one thing the motor bearings are noisy, I have never found any other reason, they may look good and fell good but trust me replace the motor and the noise ... Fein 9-55-13 Turbo II Bagged Canister Vacuum

Hi all---I have a Dirt Devil 091020V. there was a problem with the wand where it was the only thing sucking even when it was stuck in the tube it would ****--but nothing from the vacuum end--the diverter was stuck closed I took it apart and found something stuck but in the meantime the torsion spring [I think} fell out and I don't know where it goes--so now only the vacuum works --not the overhead cleaner part.. is there a digram somewhere that can tell me where it goes--I think it might b

I have the scunci 1000 steamer- it was sitting for a while and the cap on the top looks like its corroded and i cannot remove it from the steamer - i just bought it a year ago, but i think the salt or vinegar from cleaning it got trapped in the top and i tried everything i could think of to loosen the top so i could pour water into the unit and use it again; otherwise it is in perfect condition, but i tried even pliers and i cannot loosen it and i dont want to break it, but am so frustrated - wh

Hi, A few days ago I bought a Philips hairdryer (HP4935/22) & have used it only twice. Somehow when I used it this morning some of my hair got caught in the filter at the back of the dryer & the motor slowed down & I think overheated & stopped. Normally the filters come off but I don't think this one does. I haven't turned it back on so as not to possibly damage it even more. I am quite upset as I really love this hairdryer. It's quiet, light, small, powerful & does the job brilliantly. I h

Stuck Roller Same problem here. I think in our case, the accumulation of hair and the increasing resistance the hair created over time caused the hair to start melting, and eventually the end cap was stuck to the roller, which prevented the roller from turning.
