Having problems with your Vacuums ?

I have a Janome QC 6125 which has been sewing beautifully. I have just cleaned the lint from around the bobbin area and now it isn't sewing at all well. The bobbin side seems to be ok except there are loops of the top cotton protruding through the bottom side in irregular intervals. The seam does not seem to be strong either.

With my K6 Industrial Singer sewing machine the top thread seems to be too tight. The bottom thread is looping too much on the top of the fabric. The timming is ok. I have checked and rechecked that I have threaded it correctly. It was working great the other day. Please help as we are live out on a property and too far out to get someone out to look at it. I have recently got my sewing machine out after several years of it lying unused after moving house. I cannot find the manual. Where can I get a copy of this manual. The second request is that i need to put different cotton onto the bobbin and can't work out how to remove it from the machine. there is a clear "plate" over the bobbin , but I can't seem to remove that.

You posted in the wrong category and there is no mention of make/ model in your question so sadly it is impossible to help you.If it is any consolation this is in part due to the very poor way that the fixya question posting process works. ... Vacuums

I want to get my XL-5000 singer sewing machine to work. It does not sew. The top thread will not pick up the bobbin thread for one thing and the other problem is that it gives me a error message saying incomplete threading.

I have had 226R 20 years. Don't use it much. I have learned to pull slack out of top thread to start so I do that. However, sometimes, as today, it will wind the thread around the bobbin holder and I have to take time to ge it all out clean it up. Is something out of adjustment or what. Sometimes it will sew OK then all of a suden it will start to wind the thread around the bobbin holder again. So I'm confused. Do you have any ideas. Thanks

Hi wwilson63,What make is that 226R?The problem is that the thread is not threaded correctly. You must be very careful and follow directions explicitly.Once you think you have it threaded correctly, sew a few stitches and see ... Vacuums

Singer 327 lower bobbin thread is wild and loopy after I sew...top stitch fine. Just changed to a large thread spool with the heavy remote base and crook to carry thread to machine and wonder if this changed tension (set at 4 and correctly threaded)? It had been working fine in zigzag but I also went back to reg foot and set stitch width at 0, center needle set. Thanks for your input and help. Deanna

Borrowed Brother XR7700 Sewing Machine 1st: Sewed one inch OK; moved fabric and it stopped sewing, motor made thudding noise. When push-button (NOT pedal) is used, gives error E6, consistent with motor noise. 2d: In order to check threading had to manually PULL bobbin case toward me or it was UNDER needle plate. Cleaned a fair amount of dust out. Reinstalled bobbin, etc., per manual, rethreaded. 3rd: Will sew 2-3 stitches, then packs up again just like in 1st instance above. Have st

I have a Singer Model #4562 sewing machine. I am having trouble adjusting the tension. Everytime I try and turn the knob to adjust the bobbin just gets looser. Right now it just snags and gets caught underneath the material and bunches up into a big ball. There is a lot of thread inside the bobbin case that came out of the bobbin and has to be cut out to free the material. How do I fix this mess. I am a novice at this. I have not sewn in several years and would like to sew a few quilts

My Kenmore sewing machine timing has gotten off. I am sewing a big upholstery project and it starting bunching thread from the bobbin. The thread is so heavy that I had to put some pressure just to get it undone. This happen a few times and then I found it wasn't sewing at all. When I evaluated without the materials in place I could see the needle would catch on the white plastic piece under the bobbin and the thread would not catch on the metal arm. It appears to be off by 1/4 - 3/8 inch.

So, I was sewing along and heard a thump...kind of sounded like a louder version of what you hear when the needle hits a pin...but I wasn't using pins. This, of course, lead to the thread jamming so I had to clear that. When rethreading I pulled out the bobbin case to make sure it was seated correctly and found a kind of "v" shaped piece of wire (about the width of a paper clip I guess) sitting loose under the bobbin case. I took it out and threw it away. Still can't pull up the bobbin threa

I bought this machine about 3 years ago but hadn't used it due to illness. Now when I tried to sew with the Tuff Sew ,the threads continually break. If I can make about a 3 inch line of staight stitches without the top thread breaking,I consider myself fortunate The direction in the manual are extremely poor. Our beautiful Bernina 730 sewing machine has been stored in the garage in its original case, and that wrapped in plastic, for a few years now. Temperatures have been both hot and cold in the garage, but the environment was dust-free. We have brought the Bernina in, set it up, oiled it as specified in the manual, with the original sewing machine oil. We have correctly threaded the machine and the bobbin thread is up. When we press on the pedal to sew, the machine gets electricity and buzzes
