I just bought a used euro pro steam shark model ep903, has all parts but when I turned it on to use it water and steam poured out of the handle grip area. Am I not doing something right? The manual says to attach the brush directly to the hand grip but I can't use it without getting burned. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I have a Bissell Model 8905 Carpet Cleaner. I was going to replace the belts because the pump belt broke, but when I turned the machine over, a small piece fell out. It looks like a tensioner arm because it has a small round part at each end on opposite sides of an arm that has an offset or "dogleg" in it.
