Having problems with your Vacuums ?
Should you use anything more than water to refresh clothing with this steamer
\015 Will the use of only water refresh clothing with this steamer or should I use an additional cleaning solution?\015
I personally use a 1/4 cup of fabric softener in mine. It leaves the clothes feeling like they came out of the dryer. this wont damage the steamer or the clothing you are steaming. And they smell great too

My Eureka Enviro Steamer won't make steam. It is only my second time to use it. It came on for about 5 minutes, then the steam stopped. The green light stayed on. I turned it off and let it cool down, added more water, then turned it on again. It didn't do anything--not even warm up.

I have a Sunbeam Model Number 4065-000 and there is white particles comming out of the holes in the bottom. I think it is because we used tap water and there is a lot of deposits in the water. I read on the box that it was ok to use tap water and not distilled water. Is ther any way to clean the inside out to get the deposits cleaned out without affecting the possibility of doing something to the cloths that I will iron after cleaning the iron?
If the deposits are recent and still fairly soft, running a tank of vinegar through the machine should remove the deposits (obviously not using on any clothes, hold it over a sink). if the deposits are more stubborn, you can use a cleaning agent like ... Sunbeam Vacuums
My Tefal steam iron (Pressing Compact) blew a fuse. There was water in it and it had been used for about 15 mins. I wouldn't recommend the CLR. My suggestion is to run a cycle using white vinegar, the accepted standby for removing sediment and deposits in small and major appliances. I hope this helps. If it does, please rate my solution. Good luck! ... Rowenta Vacuums

Poor cleaning I recently bought the Shark Steam Mop as I read mainly fantastic reviews. I was disappointed to find that it leaves a slight film on my dark hardwood floors when finished.
