I have a Panasonic MCE6003 vacuum cleaner. I regretfully leant it to a neighbour and it came back full of dog hair and keeps cutting out. I cleaned out the dust container and the main filter but it still kept cutting out after 5 minutes. I decided to unscrew the part with the motor and wash the filter inside. It was all going well until a large rubber washer bit, a piece that looks like the thermostat and a little white button attached to two black wires fell out and now I have no idea how to put

Belts breaking/melting The original belt broke at almost 1 year so I replaced it. I changed the carpet setting to shag even though my carpet is very low pile to make it easier on the vacuum. I didn't get to use it but just a couple minutes and could already start smelling the new belt getting hot. I checked the roller and it is easy to spin. Not clogged with hair or dirt. Now the inside of the new belt has small pieces of rolled rubber instead of being smooth. The metal shaft that goes into the

I have a Simplicity S24 canister vacuum. It's about 3 yrs. old. In the past year I have had it in the shop 4 times because when using the rug piece, the piece turns on & off, on & off. The actual vacuum doesn't... just the rug piece. I recently spent $65 on a new part, after spending countless dollars the other 3 times it was in the shop for this problem. I'm ready to buy another name vacuum altogether as I feel this vacuum is not worth the money that was spent on it. I'm very frustrated.

The rubber seal strip inside of the vacuum system on top and on the bottom has started coming off. I was wondering if I could reorder this rubber seal stripping to replace on my system. The model number on my system is #91740. MV 261414/1 is another number that was labeled on the back of machine as well. We ordered it off of QVC and the name of this vacuum system is called, Cook's Essentials's Vacuum Packaging System. Thank you for you time. Look forward to hearing back from you soon.

Hello, I have a problem with my Eureka Powerline bagged upright vacuum. It has a 12 amp motor and is model #4352, Type D. It was probably bought new in 1998. My problem is, while vacuuming today the motor seemed to slow down all of the sudden and then began smelling like burning rubber. I shut the vacuum off to check for blockages but could not find anything blocked. When I then turned it on again it runs but seems to only be running at 1/2 the motor speed and still has the rubber buring smell.

It sounds like a rubber sealing in the motor has come loose and is being constantly rubbed against the walls of the motor with would cause the smell and loss of motor speed caused by the fricton of rubber against the rod so if you can get to the moto ... Vacuums

My Generation 3 Kirby Vacuum is giving off a burnt rubber smell when I vacuum. I have tried to raise the height of the head but it still happens. Can you tell me what could be causing rubber to burn? What needs to be fixed?

The belt driving the brush roller in the power head is slipping. It is really just a big thick rubber band. Where it wears out it slips and burns due to friction. Look at the bottom of the power head. There is a cover plate held with 2 to ... Kirby Generation 3 Bagged Upright Vacuum

Clogged vacuum Rather stupidly, my boyfriend 1) were vacuuming without a bag and 2) vacuumed up a big piece of cotton from a sofa cushion. And now it's making a horrible noise and I see it vibrating where the tube connects to the machine. When you look inside there's a white thing sticking out but it looks like it's part of the vacuum. If it's a clog, how do you fix it? I tried unscrewing the tray the bag sits in but it won't budge.

You can start by taking off the bottom plate or top cover, which ever comes off, that is where the inlet starts going in and hopefully the clog is there. Could be in the hose also. Last night as I was vacuuming, I noticed that the belt stop indicator light was on. I pulled out the hair that had gotten tangled around the brush in hopes of solving the problem. It didn't change things. I then unscrewed the entire bottom piece to take out the brush roller. I removed hair from the end piece of the brush roller and reattached the belt; however, I cannot figure out where the microchip is supposed to go so that I can reassemble the base piece by screwing it back together. It seems

No vacuum My Floormate has plenty of air moving, but no vacuum at the nozzle. When I turn it on, the filter hops up to the black rubber "intake", rather than staying in its spot. It seems to me that the intake should be in contact with the filter when the reservoir is installed. And I don't understand why the intake isn't closer to it, but it seems fixed there, almost an inch higher than the filter. When I remove the bottom reservoir and turn the h3000 on, I feel vacuum at the intake, and air
