Clean the filters as per the user guide AND remove the silver, where the clear plastic handle is. On te back by the purple catch to release the dirt container is a screw - remove that and then remove the 3 screws on the purple lid with holes in it, remove the lid & clean the "cyclones" - mine were all blocked. Make sure all the bits are clean & dry & re-assemble.

I have the Miele S7280...the one without the clog hatch on the back. I took the bag cover off, then continued the remove the screws and cover underneath it to detatch the top from the bottom. Found the clog and cleaned it out. Heres the problem...now the power nozzle light comes on and the vacuum "on" is lite up red, but it will not come on. Checked the filters and the bag. It certaintly seems like the top and bottom are meeting up to latch into each other, but I have no power. Help!!

Our miele red star(s314i) vacuum was running great and quit suddenly. It had not been running for a very long time and just quit. Newish bag, no clogs in hose and doesn't seem overly hot. the over heated warning light did not come on. I've waited 30 plus minutes to try to restart and no luck. Any ideas
Ok, so if the cord test didn't fix the problem, then it sounds like either the plug has gone bad, or the switch. The plug is a very common problem to go bad, and can be caused by just simply yanking the plug out of the wall, or putting too much tens ... Miele Red Star Bagged Canister Vacuum
I have a vax mach 6. There is very little suction when using the tools and it will switch itself after a few minutes. I have had it to bits and cleaned it. I can not find any blockages. The belts also seem fine.

I have an older Wega 2 group espresso machine. Looks like a date of 1992 on the group head, but not sure. This has no model name that I can find. Anyway, when I turn it on I get all lights flashing after it heats up 5 minutes or so. I do get nice steam from the wands. I drained teh tank and found a little scale, but not much. I took apart the group heads and cleaned them thinking it may be a clog there, but that doesn't seem to have worked. Also fwiw the water level float is not visible and whe

It's an upright, model X4. The bag full or clogged light is lit. I've takent the thing apart and cleaned it out, and removed some clogs. But the light won't go out and when I run it, it stops after a minute or so. Also, the pedal for lowering the machine to use it has come off and I can't figure out how to reattach it.

Clogged Hose 8 Year old Electrolux Centralux Vacume Cleaner has a clogged hose. Seems something is lodged in the middle of the hose - about half way down. I have tried a "plumbers snake" with no luck, except to clean out some "lint Balls" bot not the obstruction that seems to be like a "nail or stick".
Hi, this sounds like you have something stuck quite firmly in the hose!! If you use a good sturdy stick then you should be able to move the object without any damage to the hose. Check along the outside of the hose first just incase something has pus ... Electrolux Centralux Vacuum
Poor suction The actual sweeper seems to work ok, but the hose attachment has some suction but not enough to pick up things I think it should and not enough to make the power brush spin. I've checked everywhere I can for clogs, but I can't see anything. And there doesn't seem to be any way to check to hose itself for clogs. I've cleaned out the container and the filters, but there's still a problem.
Check the inlet down by the brush roll, make sure it is open, if it is then the hose itself must have a clog. If the hose comes off, drop something like a marble in one end and see it it comes out the other end, if it doesn't then you have a clog. ... Universal Lighting and Decor company: i have one of their Halogen Three Light Torchiere and Reading Floor Lamp and the Torchiere or top light has a defective socket which works only intermittently. It seems to have some resistance and you can turn it on and nothing happens, then if you wait 5, 10, 15 minutes, it will suddenly go on. I don't think this is safe. Can I get a replacement socket system for the top lamp or what can I do?
My dyson vacuum cleaner doesn't seem to have the same suction power it used to. I have cleaned out the canister and have taken apart the vacuum head (for cleaning carpets) and it doesn't seem to be blocked but it seems to lose suction by the time it reaches the head. The suction is strong at the end of the hose (where you attach the telescopic attachment with vacuum head) Any ideas? Thanks, Irene
