Having problems with your Vacuums ?

From 220V to 110V controller ASM modification, is it possible?

\015 Got this unit new back in asia on 220V. now we've move to NA, i need it in 110V. didn't have the time to sell it off there so i'm stuck with it. dragging a heavy step down transformer as you use the unit is a silly idea if you ask me. so i was wondering if the controller's transformer the type that has an option to change voltages? or is it the whole transformer needs replacement? i don't mind soldering but is it possible at all before i start dismantling it. would there be an electric/electronic schematics on-line (currently couldn't fine one). thanks ahead.\015

Answers :

Some models and switch behind for convert in that way the transformer had been designed for to do it.
Other models coming according to the country example USA, most of them use 110VAC, other 220VACsuch Europe
However you can ask to the factory by asking if they have a kit for converter to 220vac to 110vac
God bless you

When I vacuum w/ the brush control in the on position it make a really loud noise, almost like a grinding sound. I have looked at it and nothing seems to be wrong, but I notice that the pin that engages the belt seems to vibrate a bit, possibly creating the noise. It started when I accidentally got part of a plastic grocery bag caught in the brush. Could it have stretched a belt? Nothing is caught any other place and it only makes the noise when the brush in in the on position.

Yes, the belt could have been stretched and is now vibrating and hitting other parts and creating a noise if much of the bag got caught under the belt. If you have another belt for this vacuum, please put it on and see if the noise stops. If it does ... Hoover U5780-900 Windtunnel Cyclonic Bagless UprightVacuum

The one of the controllers for the electric blanket keeps flashing an "e". The other controller is fine. We switched controllers and the same thing happened. We have unplugged the blanket for several minutes and turned off the controller for several minutes. It always goes back to displaying the "e". It is a warmspun blanket and I cannot find any information on the company so that I can contact them to see about the 5 year warranty.

I bought a house that has a 1970s GE microwave oven that's built-in above a traditional oven. (Unfortunately, I can't locate a model number for the microwave.) Vacuum cleaner We have a panasonic MC-E47electronic which seems dead. It has a speed control which we nearly always had on full anyway. I have a Hampton Bay Midili fan which I just installed about a month ago and it was working fine. A few days ago when I flipped the switch on the light flickered on and off consistently until I turned the switch off. The remote also stopped working to control the fan and light. Since this model only can be controlled by the remote I am worried I will have to replace the remote already after only 1 month!

110-220V Dear Sir, I purchased a kirby sentria vacuum cleaner from ebau two weeks ago. I currently resid in the UAE with 220V power. My maid has plugged the vacuum to work with it unaware of the voltage difference, a terrble noise as mentioned came from the cleaner as well as a smell. She unlugged it and stopped t from operating. Can you please let me know how can i assess the damage? If this model has a switch from 110 to 220V IS there a solution with transfromer or motor to make it work? Thank

You may have burnt up the motor field when it was plugged into a 220V power source. But there are drop down transformers you can get to reduce the voltage form 210 to 110. AS Radio Shack or similar store would have them. ... Kirby G4 Bagged Upright Vacuum
