I cannot keep the bag attached to the handle inside the cover on my Oreck XL Vaccuum. When it comes off dust blows out into the cover instead of the bag which makes it very hard to unzip the cover.

I'm trying to use the reverse flow hole on my Miele s712 to blow up an air mattres. None of my fitting appear to fit so I can use the hose. Is there something I'm missing? Is there a trick of the trade? Or am i missing some gear. It's new, out of the box but I just can't get the hose onto the reverse flow. My Kirby shampooer - G4 - hardly used any water from the tank and no suds at all. Pet hair did blow out of the small slotted holes in the tray as I moved the shampooer back and forth, but the carpet was basically dry. I did vacuum before shampooing, so the brush part seemed to work great during shampooing, but no water! The small screen was stuck in the crook of the hose that attached to the tank so I did get that out and put it on the small hole on the tank, but it didn't make any difference. I

Dyson dc17 My dc17 has great suction with the attachment but when i try to vacuum my carpet it hardly has any suction. I just bought this on ebay and the seller told me to pull the pole all the way out but it doesn't seem to completely come out. am i doing something wrong? You have the answer and just don't know it. You are there so keep looking. Somewhere between where the suction hose connects with the lower hose and the power-head. Cleaning! To clean the cyclonic cone Dyson say to use can-air? that may be ok for computers but not to blow out the dirt and dust from the cone in question. I have an older model F6056-900 Hoover steamvac Spin Scrub Cleaner. My first problem was that I loaned it out to a friend. Anyway she ran over the hose (used for attachments) with her car. Have a Centralux Aerus about 5 years old. Don't see a model number. There is suction but beater brush quit working. Was using for a few minutes, shut it off for a few minutes, turned it back on and suction only. Tried the reset button also. Tried the sidekick attachment and it works fine. There was no smell like something was hot. Belt is fine. Are there any fuses or anything else to try? This vacuum cleaner has not really been used that much, it is hard to believe the motor would need replaced
