\015 My Hoover Windtunnel upright Idler arm assy. part number U6445 has crack running through it. So I ordered the part from a hoover dealer and it was shipped without instrutions on how to take out the crack idler and to replace the new idler arm assy. VACUUM REPAIR I have a Hoover Savvy upright, windtunnel, bag/bagless vacuum (model U8150-900). The Handle Release Foot Pedal - Part #38434026 broke soon after purchase but I finally found a source to replace this item. The problem is that now that I have the repair part I cannot figure out how to remove the old pedal and install the new one. The housing appears to be one piece of solid plastic. Any ideas, PLEASE! Ihave a Hoover Windtunnel self-propel model U6445-920. The belt from the drive motor to the big wheel will not run in the center of the wheel. The belt runs about 1/3 off the wheel. I have tried several new belts and still the same problem. What do I need to do to repair this problem.

We have a Kenmore Progressive Model 116 Upright bagged vacuum with Hepa filter. It's at least a couple years old. For quite some time now when ever we use the vacuum the vacuum motor will shut off nafter about 5 min. of use. We then need to let it sit for awhile and then we can run it again for another 5 min.
