Carpet vacuum attachment quit working after sucking up a bedskirt. Bedskirt has been removed but carpet attachment will not work. My old vacuum had a reset button on the carpet attachment for use when the carpet attachment sucked up something and turned off. Does the Hoover have such a feature, and, if so, where is it? If not, how do I fix the problem and how do I keep it from recurring? Model # S3765-040. Serial # 100700081298. Purchased 2/08.

No suction i have a hoover supreme wind tunnel vac and its relatively new and the suction, well......sucks. It wont pick anything up! I am extremely frustrated! I picked up a ball of fuzz off the carpet and held it under the vacuum and it still wouldn't **** it up. I then shoved the fuzz up INTO the vacuum. It fell right back out. Using a Hoover Steamvac to clean my carpets. It works fine in some areas, but others it makes a clicking noise and stops sucking water. Once I turn the vacuum off and wait a few seconds, it clicks once more and is okay to use again. Certain parts of my carpet this happens so frequently I can't vacuum.
