Dyson animal D28 suction on floor vacuum mode is so strong I can't push the machine. Last used for hand tools, is there some mechanism that is stuck?

\015 I used the vacuum hand tool on my couch, now I cannot use the floor mode because the suction is so strong I cannot push the vacuum cleaner. Can you advise? Perhaps the adjustment for carpet height is broken?\015

Hi, I have a Sebo X4 which is almost 3 years old. I haven't had any problems with it until the last couple of days when I notice a slight screeching noise when in upright position, coming from the roller mechanism area. If I slightly push the sebo forwards it gets worse, if I tip it back it stops. If I take the roller out and switch on, there is no noise. I have always been careful not to tip the machine forwards when using the hose, but I recently lent it to a friend whose hoover had broken do

I have a Necchi 522, an early mechanical stretch stitch machine. The timing and stitching are great, but over the past few projects I have noticed a balky tendency when I press the knee bar. After my last project the motor almost won't engage. Sometimes there is no sound, and sometimes there is a weak whirring, but no action until I push the hand wheel. I have a feeling that it is either the v belt or that the motor needs new brushes. Are either of these ideas likely, and if so, are they self

Just tried to use it again, and now I only drips of water will come out of the hand sprayer, if that. I have tried prepping it for up to 15 seconds like the manual says... no luck with that. Also it is making a big puddle on the floor, probably because the brushes on the main unit keep spinning when I am trying to use the hand tool which I dont think they are supposed to do? Can a

When using the floor configuration, I can't get the trigger to cause a spray of either water or cleaner. When using the tool configuration and the hand device with brushes etc, the spray works well with the hand trigger.

The trigger on the handle for tthe floor configuration has become loose or broken. When you squeeze it, the action pulls a rod that runs down the length of the shaft and goes into the base and allows the water to spray. You need to check and make sur ... I empty the cannister before each use and clean out the filter monthly. My house has mainly hardwood floors, so I typically only use it on area rugs and 2 small carpeted rooms. The suction is good, but it can't pick up most of the stuff on the floor. The hand held hose works very well, but it doesn't even pick up little fuzzies reliably when I push it along. And, the suction is too hard I think because it used to push easily and now I have to push really hard, even on flat carpet.

Check entire length of hose, including the piece in the power head, for clogs. Simply drop a marble in one end and allow it to roll out the other. If it doesn't, then the hose is clogged somewhere. ... Dyson DCO7 Animal Bagless Upright Cyclonic Vacuum

I have a 5260D Baby Lock Serger, which I had tuned up a year ago. I haven't used it very much since. I appreciate any ideas. Thank you. Maura

I've had my Dyson DC14 vacuum cleaner now for approximately 9 months and been very happy with my purchase. However, It is used sparingly maybe twice a week at the very most. The problem is when I try to use the item on my carpet, you have to push really hard to get it to move. It's as though the suction power is far to strong. It certainly doesn't glide as I think it should. It still picks up as usual but I cannot imagine that having to 'force' the machine to move is the normal operating procedu
