Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit. The problem started when the little purple ridged curved part on front of vacuum cleaner right below handle came loose and a spring fell out from somewhere--don't know where. For few days, I was able to get around this problem by repeatedly turning the switch on and off until it turned on but that does not work any more.
