My Dyson DC25 got stuck and wouldn't return to the upright position, I figured out that one side had jumped the track and gotten stuck in the square hole below the track. I did not want to break the plastic to force it back, so I removed the screw on the right side that was holding the kick stand on and removed the kick stand, also a spring thing came out. Problem is, now I have no idea how to re-install the kickstand. Can't find a technical manual or video anywhere, it can't be very difficul

On our Hoover U6445-900 (Mach 6.9) we replaced the small belt that goes to beater brushes in front of unit. Upon starting, the Hoover quickly got hot and smoky. We shut it off and looked things over carefully, but the second try also resulted in friction heat on the belt. Now it appears the belt may have stretched due to heat and the brushes won't spin. Any ideas?

Are you sure you purchased the right size belt..the friction you speak of is usually caused by a belt not being the right tightness or a jammed beater brush ... Hoover U6446-900 WindTunnel Bagged Upright Vacuum

I'm using (or WAS using) a Eureka ''the boss'' model 8803. The belt broke, no biggie, so I replaced it with a Eureka model U belt, the problem is when I put the new belt on and turn on the vaccuum, the belt breaks again. I am also having trouble getting the brush roller to fit right when the belt is in place. I can't find any sharp edges that would cut the belt, nor can I find where any small bits may have broken. Anyone have a solution for me?

First, make sure you have the right belt, second, i am thinking that you are not lineing the roller up right, it will only fit one way. look at the ends of the roller and the grooves where it slides in, you should be able to see clearly how it goes. ... Vacuums

My dyson C07 ANIMAL is making a loud clatter noise when I push the head down. I have removed the sole plate and the brush bar is cracked so I removed it, but I understand the clutch maybe a problem also from reading other people's comments..how can I tell if it's a clutch problem also? Or... could it be just the brush bar being cracked that's causing the loud noise?

Saeco Odea Giro pumps the water but the internal spline or gear is not turning moving the ground coffee grinds to the point where the water can pump to the front exit lines so the water is pumped into the over flow resevoir. How do I replace the gear or check to make sure this is the problem. I want to replace this myself.. Also how do I get the unit apart it seems to be bullet proof. Is this a common problem.

Hoover bagless cannister 3765 - belt on power head slips off spindle. bought new belts - same problem. is this a design problem or can it be fixed? I don't want to take it to a repair shop 100 miles away and have them just put on a new belt. saw idea of smaller belt - what number? couldn't find suggested royal 104425001 belt.

I would not recommend a smaller belt. You will only wear the motor. This model series power nozzle needs to have a metal clip installed near the belt on the brush roller housing. Hi, our Dyson cuts out after about 60 secs. We've checked all the filters plus, having read that if it works without the vortex then the problem's there (it did work) we're still none the wiser because having dismantled the vortex as much as poss, there don't appear to be any problems - any ideas?

I have a dyson dc07 with a malfuncitoning clutch diagnosed here on fixya. I've replaced the clutch and the grinding noise when the clutch is engaged for carpet and non rotating brush problem presists. This is after replacement of the clutch with a new part. Install of the new part went well and there are no otehr apparent problems with the unit. Ideas? The unit is only a couple years old and not used that much on carpet.
