Singer 327 lower bobbin thread is wild and loopy after I sew...top stitch fine. Just changed to a large thread spool with the heavy remote base and crook to carry thread to machine and wonder if this changed tension (set at 4 and correctly threaded)? It had been working fine in zigzag but I also went back to reg foot and set stitch width at 0, center needle set. Thanks for your input and help. Deanna

I was lucky enough to get a Janome 372 very cheaply at a second-hand store but it came without the manual. A friend managed to thread it so that it works but the threading is completely counter-intuitive and I'm not sure that I'll be able to remember how to do it without a threading diagram to turn to in a pinch. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find a threading diagram online anywhere! Can anyone direct me to a site that shows this?

I have the Janome 6600 P. Beginning a seam the thread knotted and the machine made noise and needle would not move either up or down. I manually moved the needle using the handwheel and cut away the knotted thread. I began sewing again but instead of starting at the edge began about a half inch down, forward stitched, reversed to lock threads and problem repeated and received the message to "Stop for safety purposes". Did that. Referred to the manual, tried manual recommendation. Did not work. I

Bobbin not threading through, spool thread is gathering in bobbin catch and not sewing - just clumps of thread

My Kenmore sewing machine timing has gotten off. I am sewing a big upholstery project and it starting bunching thread from the bobbin. The thread is so heavy that I had to put some pressure just to get it undone. This happen a few times and then I found it wasn't sewing at all. When I evaluated without the materials in place I could see the needle would catch on the white plastic piece under the bobbin and the thread would not catch on the metal arm. It appears to be off by 1/4 - 3/8 inch.

The last time I sewed with my Necchi the tension was fine. Today when I threaded my needle, the thread felt tight in the upper tension dial. I tried re-threading the machine several times, but it didn't help. Now the parts of the tension dial are all loose and wobbbly and I have no upper tension. Doesn't matter what the dial is set on. The tension dial appears to be broken, but I don't know how that could have happend since I store it in a case.
