\015 When I screw the hose into the trigger handle, it seems snug, but water comes shooting out from the connection when I turn on the faucet.\015

Be sure to get a good washer on with the connection. They're easy to buy at any hardware store. You can also put white plumbing tape around the threads before screwing them in to make it really fit.

I snaked he hose and checked all of the connections. It seems to have an air leak but no amount of tape will fix this. I cleaned the filer as well with warm water and dried it and re installed but still absolutely no suction. I am ready to throw it out! Any suggestions would be appreciated

ShopVac pump The waterhose connection is up high. The only way to get the water up to the level of the hose is to continually hold down the on button due to the automatic shut off after it fills to a certain level. On the bottom of the filter there is a hole. I am thinking there should be a small hose of some sort to put into that hole that would then lead up to the level of the water hose. Concept makes sense to me. But in the meantime, good old duct tape seems to have done the trick. Not exact

The dirty tank fills up, so the suction works, but, I don't know what is going on?

When squeezing trigger and Depressing Clean surge Button on Upper handle of the Hooover Steam Cleaner F5914-900 there is no "snap" indicating trigger rod is in place. Everything else went in as instructed. The screws and bolts were no problem this concerns me because the main complaint I read about this model was leaking from the trigger and clean surge and the problem was not getting the rod in place. No matter how many tries or people (three) it still doesn't occur.

The Lower body of the Bissell QuickSteamer, water pours out from the body. Solution: I took apart the machine and there is a spring loaded valve with a rubber washer at the bottom. Think of the letter T upside down with the rubber washer on it. The washer stretches over the bottom and the spring creates a leakproof plug and won't allow water to pass till the button on the handle is pressed. This old washer came partially off and allowed water to leak. I purchased from the plumbing dept. a mi
