Having problems with your Bissell 1698 PowerSteamer ProHeat Upright Wet/Dry Vacuum ?

Water will not suck back up

\015 I have a powersteamer and tried to use it the other day, and it does not seem to be working properly. I depress the handle lever and soap comes out, but at the end the the "strip" I am cleaning, a jelly like blog is spit out on the floor. Then, when I try to pull the machine back to suck up the water, nothing gets taken back up in to the return tank. Any suggestions would be appreciated.\015

Answers :

Either the tank isn't sitting square, or there is a oblong seal that should be on the top of the clear window, it seals the top to the edge of the tank. If missing, it won't suck up water. Also sound like it nees to be cleaned out, run a solution of water and vinegar thru it to clean out the lines.
