Heater blocked with lime scale. or short valve inside unit handle plunger not reaching valve
PS: In a fit of frustrated anger I've removed and destroyed the soap selection switch, use needle nose pliers to adjust the depth of the valve for your desired soap mixture (not an exact science)

When squeezing trigger and Depressing Clean surge Button on Upper handle of the Hooover Steam Cleaner F5914-900 there is no "snap" indicating trigger rod is in place. Everything else went in as instructed. The screws and bolts were no problem this concerns me because the main complaint I read about this model was leaking from the trigger and clean surge and the problem was not getting the rod in place. No matter how many tries or people (three) it still doesn't occur.

My Bissell model 8910 pro heat will pump solution or water for like the first couple times you pull the trigger as you can see the mixture window spinning. After that it stops spinning and nothing else will come out until you turn the machine off, and restart. Then again same process works for a couple trigger pulls then quits.

Window 3 gives an option to set something between 0 and 2500. Oregon say they only have one set of instructions for the BAR888 but they do not match my instrument as there is nothing included for my window 3. Trouble is I don't know what the 0 to 2500 relates to and therefore don't know what to set it at.(My model does n

When using the floor configuration, I can't get the trigger to cause a spray of either water or cleaner. When using the tool configuration and the hand device with brushes etc, the spray works well with the hand trigger.

The trigger on the handle for tthe floor configuration has become loose or broken. When you squeeze it, the action pulls a rod that runs down the length of the shaft and goes into the base and allows the water to spray. You need to check and make sur ... I have a Model F7431-900 and is a SteamVac V2. When I press the trigger for water or cleaning solution, the water just runs right through it even after releasing the trigger. What kind of problem do I have? Is it most likely a valve problem? I'm handy at fixing things and want to avoid the large repair bill if I take it in.

This sounds like a stuck solenoid. The Dual V models use solenoids to contol soap and water flow to the floor, along with a pump unit. If your unit is 12 months or less it is under warranty. I am not sure about the cost of the solenoid. ... Hoover SteamVac V2 6-Brush Widepath F7426-900 Vacuum

Steam doesn't come out anymore when I pull the trigger. I think the water in the tank is getting hot, but when I pull the trigger, only a little water comes out. No steam

I got my bissell for $7.50 from a thrift store, if you can believe THAT. Used it for the first time today after reading the manual online first. After filling the clean water bladder full of hot water and setting everything up the way I wanted, proceeded to turn things on and go for it. Well, the water/solution just kept coming and coming, without my finger on the trigger. Obviously something is jammed in the open position but where? The trigger moves freely.

On the DC07, the entire cyclone assembly must be removed to empty the dust, debris, etc. collected when vacuuming. On the top of the cyclone is a "trigger" that you lift with your finger to release the bottom catch, which allows a clear flap to open on the "clear bin," thus letting all the debris fall out. My problem is when you lift the finger trigger, it does not release the catch on the bottom. Since the catch won't release, I cannot remove the entire clear bin either from the cyclone.Any sug
