Having problems with your Bissell 3576 CleanView II Bagless Upright Vacuum ?

Isn't picking up lint. Will pick up other things like flecks of paper but will not get any fuzz or fibrous material off any rug no matter what the setting. This is a recent problem. Have owned the vacuum for awhile and never seen this issue before. Is it an easy fix? I've cleaned the brush, cleaned out the filters, cleaned the dirt tank. Nothing changed.

up with stuff or the belt could be worn on it and it will turn but as soon as it contacts the floor it will stop turning. The belt is easy to replace by removing screws on the bottom of machine and a plate will come off . The belt can be pulled off and a new one installed by stretching it over the shaft on the motor and one on the brush assembly some may have a cogged wheel. JUST MAKE SURE IT IS UNPLUGED BEFORE DOING THIS

My electrolux oxygen canister cuts on and off. I have to open and close the vacuum, or take the base of the hose off and then re-insert. I have to do all these things before it will start up again. If I try to dust with the dust brush (like a lamp shade or shelf) and the suction pulls against the object, the vacuum goes off for awhile. Low suction I have a Hoover central vacuum system. I've reset the fuse box, checked the fuses, all of the lines are clear and there are no holes for escaped air to travel out. The filter has been cleaned as well. The vac works well with high suction when hooked directly to the unit, however when using any of the indoor connections there is extremely low suction. The machine still turns on so I do not believe it is an electronic issue. I have troubleshooted the issue as best I could and would

I have had my Bissell 6591-X for 2 years. I hate it! No matter what I do all the fuzz, hair, whatever fills up around the upper filter before it even starts to deposit in the cup. It has done this ever since I bought it. No matter how much I take it apart, clean it, clean filters, empty the cup, nothing does any good. I spill more dirt onto the vacuum and floor than ever gets in the cup. I will never buy another Bissell.

I have owned my kirby sentria for 2.5 years and have had no problems until now. The vacuum still works but I cannot lower it all the way down or the light will turn off and it will start to smell like something is burning inside. I use it on the 2nd or 3rd setting with no problem. I have changed the belt and cleaned all the hair and strings that were on the roller but it still has this problem.

I was just using my Bosch 1450W bagged vacuum and all of a sudden, the motor just shut down. No warning, no problems. The light still turns on, but the motor is unresponsive. There is a clean bag and filter, and nothing caught in the front roller. The motor sounded fine - no shaking, or weird frequency variations. There were no weird smells, just a little bit of heat, but nothing beyond normal. I've had this thing for several years, and never had a bit of trouble with it. Any suggestions

I have a Eureka Power Plus vacuum, model 4702, type A. To start off, it never really had great suction. Marginal at best. Then today I was vacuuming and smelled something burning and turned off the vacuum. At that point, smoke started pouring out from the bottom of the vacuum so I layed it on it's side and the smoke cleared but I never found the source. I was vacuuming my room and all of a sudden I hear this loud noise, then notice the roller brush isn't spinning. Thinking too much hair was caught I separated it from the rod and hose to clean it out, but noticed that the roller brush didn't move at all while I was cleaning it.
